Can't believe it!
Finally a reasonable priced baking mat that fits my pampered chef cookie sheets. Nice quality!

Wipes clean easily and food doesn't stick with a spray of pam.
I use to bake fresh veggies. Easy cleanup rather than using tin foil!

Incredible
I've got to say, I don't think I can live without this little thing I didn't even know existed until about a month ago. I'm totally floored by how well it works! It's really nice not having to use foil, parchment paper, shortening, pam spray,or anything like that. This baking mat really simplified everything for me. Cookies, biscuits, fish, even pizza came out excellent and slide right off! It doesn't seem like you really NEED to cut anything on the baking pad, I literally just tilt the pad when I pull it out and whatever is on it slides effortlessly onto the cutting board. In fact I am kind of worried maybe I won't be holding it straight one of these days and everything will slide onto the floor. I can't get over that I don't have to grease everything up anymore, it makes me want to cry a tear of joy haha. Only thing that kind of creeped me out is that there were a few gnarly long black hairs stuck to the mat when I pulled it out. Extra incentive to scrub it extra clean before first use! Some may have mentioned these points before, but I will risk the repeat because I am too lazy to sift through the rest of the comments (yes lazy! that's why this pad is so awesome, I can be a lazy baker). First of all, it does get really hot. You can't try and grab it by the edges like you would tin foil. It also STAYS hot for a while, so watch your fingers! (and other extremities) Second, before I used it, I washed it (duh) and threw it in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 425 degrees. I don't know why 425 degrees, I just felt like it. The first time you bake with it, it smokes a bit so it may be a good idea to burn off all the stinky before actually putting food on it. It probably won't kill you not to (*probably*), but at the very least it's much nicer to smell your fresh baked yummies than fumes. I don't notice a smell to the mat afterwards. Huge fan of this thing. Saves time, money, and calories!

Fragile, will curl, slide and lift off wooden surface as you knead, but adheres nicely to smooth tile counter wetted.
Update: Actually, it sticks nicely to my granite-tile counters if I dampen the surface before laying the mat down on it. I used a blunt metal dough scraper on it once to divide a dough ball in two, and it cut a short gash through it. I think the superficial nicks that collect flour and I complained about in my original review likewise are from the metal scraper. I use a silicon scraper now, but I still think it's fair to say the mat fragile. -------- original review ---------------- Unfortunately it's non-sticking not only with respect to dough but to butcher block and tile counters. It worked well at first, especially when I damped the counter first, but now when I try to lift or roll my dough ball the mat wants to lift and roll with it--maybe because I've been using it with less and less flour. I think if you use flour as you traditionally would on a counter, it's OK--or even better than OK, because you can use less flour--but if you really want to exploit the ability to work without flour, you'll be frustrated. Also mine has developed lumpy nicks, which I acquired without realizing it from using my metal dough scraper. Now I only use my floppy silicone scraper. They nicks are annoying because I mistake them for spots of dough when I'm trying to clean it, and I think I'm making them worse and gunking them up when I rub a sponge over them. All together it's a bit of a puzzle to clean. You wipe your flour off one edge, then it sticks to the underside when you wipe another edge and the mat shifts. You clean and dry one side, then you wet and/or dirty it again when you flip it on the counter. You can't wash it in the air or prop it up to dry like a plate. It just takes a little unexpected getting used to and/or sucking it up.

Really clung to my formica countertop well
This is the econd pastry mat purchased during the pandemic from amazon. We are making our own noodles and ravioli during the pandemic and rolling stiff dough to 1/8 inch thickness WITHOUT the mat moving on the countertop was a challenge for the first one, but no problem for this mat. It clings so well you can even push every air bubble out for a fabulous seal. If you roll dough a few times a year, a cheap mat is fine, if you are doing it several times a week, splurge on one a little more costly that works, like this one. I liked the thickness, too. I will never use this mat in the oven even though it says it is over safe. I want it to stay fresh and nice for my rolling pin projects.

An unquestionably indispensable kitchen item!
I use this mat practically daily in my kitchen. We were constantly going through parchment paper and having to scrub caked on food from our baking sheets. This is super easy to clean (just soap and water on a cloth) and saves on having to constantly scrub oven sheets. Also it saved me going through parchment or foil for cooking. My advice is to buy at least one to fit every sized cookie sheet you have!

Excellent for small counters! ( :
it isn't too big for small counter-depth as many of the others are, it is the good silicone stuff, & it includes the size markings needed to make it easy for someone who seldom bakes to get things right, when we do! ( :

Good quility but found it small for rolling pastry

Just an awesome silicone mat for anything that goes into the oven
After 2 years of use (and quite frankly, abuse) this thing has stood up incredibly well. Compared to other brands, this thing hasn't developed any weird marks, cuts, holes, or shedding of the silicone layer. One of my most used kitchen purchases ever. Nothing sticks, easy to clean, durable, and incredible value over time.

Material is sturdy and the grip is great
Had this for a while now. Material is sturdy and the grip is great. This is one of the few with multiple metric/imperial conversion charts, which is why I picked it among the alternatives. I'm happy with it so far.
