Nice little trimmer
I suppose this would come in handier for someone who needs a quick trim. It's good, and I have nary a regret in buying it. I just wish it were a one-size-fits-all trimmer for ears, nose, eyebrows and other odd places. It performs decently in all of the aforementioned areas, but it isn't exceptional in any of them.

I like this product because it works good. It has a light for close-up touches on a normal small battery easy to use.

Cuts fast, but causes razor burns
Cuts fast, with a high reciprocation rate, but big issue with the blade is that it causes razor burns, quite painful too. If you use the guides, that won't be an issue, but using them are not exactly efficient either. They have to be at a certain orientation toward the hair stubble, otherwise, they don't cut well. I have the Philips Norelco for comparison. It doesn't cut as fast as the Micro Touch, but it doesn't cause razor burns either. Looking closer at the blade, the Philips Norelco has a larger spacing relative to each blade, so there's less chance of your skin being cut. Both blades in the Micro Touch blades seem to touch the skin at the same level, and the reciprocating action would have a better chance of catching the skin and cause mini cuts. I certainly feel it, others may not. Requested and got a refund.

These are great with the light
Nice sharp blades and I never get cut. Great for ear hair and such. The light really helps. This works so well, I bought a second one for traveling.

Failed after 6 weeks
Unit worked for 6 weeks with just occasional use. Light works, but not the trimmer function. I replaced the battery anyway. Same deal...light, but no trimmer. Maybe a dud, but I won't be trying another one. Update: I contacted product support and they promptly responded and are sending me a replacement free of any charges. I changed my rating. Kudos to standing behind their customers

Total waste of money
I bought this to replace a similar trimmer I'd had for about 12 years and which I damaged by spraying Jig-a-Loo lubricant on the blades (the solvent melted the plastic supporting the blades). The design was similar to this Micro Touch one, although the blade was about 30% shorter and the handle was only just big enough round to hold the AAA battery. The old trimmer was actually much more comfortable in the hand. Despite the clunkier feel of the Micro Touch, I was expecting similar performance to the old trimmer, which cut great, but I was very disappointed. Even with a fresh alkaline battery, this new trimmer struggles to even move the blade (it sounds like the battery is dying), and the blade design simply refuses to engage and cut nose hairs effectively. I have to go over hairs multiple times and STILL most of them are not cut. The three-position switch is also very iffy and doesn't make reliable contact. In short, this trimmer was a total waste of money, and I am now looking for another trimmer to replace it.

the money I paid for this was not worthy it said on web site-cuts hair in between hair cuts-what it does is your eyebrows and sideburns ,it is not an all hair cutter-what a waste off money
