Diamond Grips are the best
These are the best cleats for ice. I live in the northeast and use these when I shovel my driveway. They don't fall off the boots. My wife uses a pair I bought her for walks in the park in the winter.

The best traction I've had but broke cable in two months
I walk my110# dog everymorning. I'm an old man in Maine who has already broken one hip by a dog walking fall. I have tried all sort of snow/ice footwear. These cleats have given me the most confidence ever. They are the only strap one that have stayed on my snow boots. I am really happy with them but the cable was broken on one of the this morning and I can't use them now after two months of mostly once or twice a day use. I don't know if there is any warranty. Ill probably buy another set but I do wish they had lasted out this winter. They worked.

These things really work
Easy to put on and they do not clog up with snow. They have made a huge difference for winter walking. Definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic grip, but points wore out fast
This winter has been ice Hell. These cleats were a Godsend... however, they are only steel, not tungsten carbide. I need to walk dry concrete as well as smooth black ice on the sidewalks. The dry concrete wore out the points on the cleats after just 5 weeks. This resulted in me sliding and falling on some very smooth black ice. So, great product, doesn't last long in the city. The cleats need to be made from tungsten carbide.

Quiet, comfortable + secure walking, but save your money
I've had a pair of regular old YakTrax for like 30 years. Finally, the metal popped off. I bought them again on Amazon, AND I sprung for these beefier Diamond YakTrax. It's all over for the regular ones.*** Seriously. When I wore them I sometimes still slipped, and on regular pavement, crunch-crunch-crunch, they were super noisy. Also I felt separated from the ground, like I could not grip it with my sneaker outsoles. The diamond version provide a more secure and comfortable ride. I feel a little closer to the ground in these, and also, they are quite a bit quieter on all surfaces than the regular YakTrax. I am just leaving them on my winter walking sneakers for now. There are sections of the road where I walk every day that are clear, and then there are sections with slush and thick ice. These diamond YakTrax allow me to keep my pace, whether it is walking fast or jogging. There is nothing worse when you are out there walking for fitness to have to slow down and pick your way along, for fear of falling. If you live where it gets cold and sometimes snows and freezes, don't hesitate. Yes, you could pull a muscle in your groin or break a fingernail struggling to stretch them over your shoes, but it is worth it. *** Yes, my originals lasted decades. I was out for a walk/hike today, very sloppy out and one of my Diamond Grip YakTraks broke. Yes, just rusted away. Who are these really for? Someone who needs them for half a season? I am very unhappy with the quality control here. Serious: regular old YakTraks last and last. Diamond Grips don't even last a full winter season. Bummer. Fell right off my sneaker. They left me out there two miles from my car and nothing but black ice and slush to get through. As soon as I got back to my car, the originals went back on my Hoka One Ones. What a waste of money these Diamond Grips are.

Stayed on my feet
Stayed on my feet well. Only complaint is that snow would pack together and stick in a clump on the bottom of my boots when wearing them. Overall would buy again and recommend.

Very good grip.
First use and very impressed with grip. Felt very safe and comfortable. Don’t know about longevity yet. Found them fairly easy to put on and I am 60, female and have some arthritis in my hands but my boots are at the smaller end of the size range so your mileage may vary.

Life-changing
It isn't an exaggeration to say these will change my life. I've always been a major klutz. Even on a sunny summer day, I can trip on air and have done it often. It's the slipperiest time of the year right now....when the temp hovers just above/below freezing, creating terribly slick sidewalks of glassy ice. Naturally, I've already fallen this year when my dog pulled hard (in his defence, leisurely strolling snails could have outpaced us). These were mentioned to me by another dog person. Best product recommendation ever! We went for a walk as soon as they arrived. At first, I still took it slow, testing things out as we went, trying to slide my foot on really slick patches, etc. They dig right into the ice. By the time we finished our walk, I was confidently walking on the icy sidewalks at the pace we normally go in summer. My dog will still pull when he sees rabbits and squirrels, but these will keep me in control of the situation. I took one off to show my neighbour, and it was like having a curling slider on that foot. I'm still not likely to ever be out walking in the wicked cold of deep winter, but the other 11 months of the year, we'll be out walking in the fresh air. If I were a runner, I'm sure I could easily run in these. The quality is excellent. I have no doubt these will last years (I will update this review if that opinion changes). I wear a women's size 10 shoe. They are at their reasonable stretch limit and it probably take a little more effort to get them on than necessary. It isn't too hard for me to manage, but if you don't have a lot of strength, you might want to consider the next size up if you wear a women's 10.

Don't try wearing these indoors on tile floors
These work great to prevent slipping on ice/snow outdoors. NOTE: You should order a much LARGER SIzE than recommended in their "size" chart. The rubber is VERY STIFF and VERY HARD to put on shoes. For example, for a size 10 men shoe I ordered XTRA-LARGE and it fit. (Previously, I tried the so-called "large" and it was extremely difficult to put on the shoe). ALSO WARNING: Do not wear these INDOORS on tile or stone surfaces. You will find yourself literally SKATING (as in "ice-skating") over the tile . . . seriously. No grip whatsoever. So be prepared to take them ON and OFF (very time-consuming) when going in/outdoors. Or resign yourself to completely removing the shoes. Otherwise, you will find yourself "ice-skating" over your indoor tile floor -- and crashing into the floor.

These completely fell apart within weeks
This was the second time I purchased these grips. Last year, they almost made it through the winter season before completely disintegrating. This year they last less than two months. If this is “aircraft quality steel”, then I wouldn’t be flying in any aircraft anytime soon. They do work well while they last but the quality issues render them not worth the money. I will be looking for another brand/model next winter.
