Slim Fit, Chinese Made
Great fit if you are the ideal American Apparel body type, tall and slim. I'm disappointed that they have outsourced. Their clothing is now made in China instead of in the US. Great shirt nonetheless!

this is a great shirt that is ideal for being active
What i mean by an active shirt is it can be used as a regular shirt as well as a workout shirt for several key reasons. I had initially worn this on a four mile walk with mild hills. I noticed right away the special material it is made out of totally keeps you cooler than regular shirts. I walked the same trail two days in a row prior to this third trip that i had worn this shirt on. The temperature outside was in the eighties all three days and i barely broke a sweat after walking up a giant hill that on the 2 previous days led immediately to an uncomfortable overheating. This drastic difference shows how much extra airflow gets through this thin material. The shirt itself has a silky feel to it and looks smooth. I f you look close at the material there is this shiny stuff in there. The neck area dips down a little which leads to more comfort and air circulation. This grey color is a nice choice for being in the sun with little sun absorption adding to the great design. I like this shirt a lot and will look into more in different colors. I recommend this neat shirt by the American Apparel company.

mixed feelings
i typically wear a large in shirts and got the X-large. it fit more like the smaller end of the large. arms were meant for a skinny teenager and the torso was definitely a slim-fit. i liked the material a lot and it was very comfortable, just snug.

Thin material

Super SOFT, Super THIN material and a little overpriced!!
So I cracked the code for American Apparel, if you are a woman and you wear size large normally, then buy the X-Large in the men's products!!! This Super Soft, Slinky, VERY Thin top fits me perfect (loosely and comfortably) and you can ball it up and the wrinkles pop right out of it....easy to hand wash and dries FAST, so it is good for camping and Travel anywhere!! IT sort of reminds me of a Pajama top because it is SO thin and a cheap feeling material....Although, I like the way it feels and looks, I do think it is overpriced for what it is.... !!! Thank you!!!

Soft, silky, resists wrinkles, but runs small/slim
My husband loves the simple comfort of this shirt. The material is very thin, almost silky and surprisingly doesn't hold onto wrinkles as I'd expect. It does runs slightly small or perhaps is just designed to have a slim fit. My husband typically wears a size XL and while this shirt fits him, it does cling a bit to his chest and he prefers to have a little bit of a looser fit. However since he does love the feel of this shirt, he prefers to layer it under a flannel since it fits a little too tight for him to confidently wear it alone. It did not shrink or lose shape after being washed and dried in the dryer. Overall a very comfortable shirt however you may want to size up.

Slim fit
The fit on this shirt is slim. I ordered the XL and it still clung to my body like a slim fitted shirt. I normally order XL in any regular style Tshirt and I do not have this issue. If I was thinner this might not be an issue, but I have a little dad fat and it shows. I would order this shirt a size larger than normal if you want it to fit looser. The fabric is very soft, lightweight and comfortable. I like all the new clothes being made with this Modal material. I recommend this shirt.
