Great Little Carry-On.

Purchased two carry-on pieces for a trip to Texas. One for my husband and one for myself. Have no intention to ever check this luggage and subject them to such rough handling. They fit easily in storage area above seats. The 360 degree wheels worked great for us, as did the pull out handle used to attach our travel totes to. Considering the amount of walking from one end of the terminal to our gate and transfer of flights, the cases held up very well. We packed plenty of clothing items, and extras with front zippered panels still unused and expandable option unused. There is also a clear visible removable section for toiletries or makeup. We have recently had the need to utilize the luggage for another trip. This time a road trip and had no issues whatsoever. We love them. They are the perfect travel size.

Great carry on suitcase, great deal!

After searching Amazon & Macy’s apps for 2 weeks looking for a carry on for my son, I checked out countless hard side & soft side options & poured over reviews. I finally settled on this soft sided carry on. Amazon buyers had posted some useful videos & the reviews for this bag were consistently awesome. I wanted something with good quality spinner wheels & a telescoping handle that was sturdy. The bag needed to be affordable and have nice features inside & out. This carry on checked all of those boxes! Very impressed with the look & quality of this bag, both inside & out. Smooth zips with high quality zipper pulls, 2 handy & spacious exterior pockets for easy access to travel essentials (this is why I chose soft side over hard side!) a separate expansion zipper for more packing space for clothing, and I love that it has sturdy handles on three sides to easily grab this bag from any angle. One side has nice “feet” if you want to set the bag down horizontally. The telescoping handle works smoothly and locks into place. There’s two different height choices for this handle. One feature it has that nobody mentioned is that the zippers have little holes you can align and you can then use your own suitcase padlock on the bag if needed. The interior is spacious, nicely lined and there’s an attached mesh zipper pocket on one of the long sides, and also a detachable zip bag they call a wet bag, so stuff your wet swimsuit inside if need be or use it for cosmetics or whatever. Not sure if it’s TSA friendly because it’s clear, but not exactly see through. The spinner wheels glide as smooth as silk across my wood floors here at home & it has excellent maneuverability. A nice dark blue, soft materiel. It’s a great looking bag! I got a really outstanding deal on this when I checked out the list of these bags available at a lower price, shipped from the Amazon warehouse. I chose an option that stated it would be “Used, in like new condition” that was listed $30 cheaper than new. It came in pristine packaging, no damage whatsoever to the box that held the suitcase and still taped up with “Swiss Gear” packaging tape. The suitcase & handles were still wrapped in plastic, tags were intact, and all of the pockets on the suitcase still were stuffed with the packaging tissue paper! This was an awesome score for under $100 and I’m sure this thing will last a very long time! Look no further, this is the perfect carry on bag. I’m sure Swiss Gear’s matching larger size bags are just as awesome, too.

The color is gorgeous

This appears to be well made and comparable to the samsonite bags I looked at. I have to admit the color sold me. My intention was to purchase TWO 25 inch check bags. My first shipment I received my 25 inch bag and a 21 inch bag. I kept them both and Amazon refunded the difference in the price so I again ordered another 25 inch bag and received a 28 inch bag instead. My trip is in a week, so I'm out of time to do anything about it. At least they got the color right so, rather than TWO 25 inch bags, I ended up with a 3 piece set. Not quite what I wanted but...????????.

Great for overseas travel or extended stay travel

Perfect size for airline requirements for international flights. Held three weeks of clothes without issue. Of course it depends on what you pack, but I had a couple pairs of shoes, normal casual clothing, jeans, t shirts, etc and everything fit very well anald within weight limit. Also would be great for long term ground travel. The luggage is constructed well, durable, and a great value. I look forward to many trips with this luggage. Great price for the quality.

This luggage is perfect for a carry on. It was pretty roomy to be able to put quite a lot of things inside. I was hesitant at first to get this one because of the fact that the outside was not a “hard shell”, but have been pretty satisfied with it so far. The wheels sometimes feels hard to maneuver on all four, but it’s not terrible.

Carry-on with Confidence

Purchased for son for 3day carry-on only school trip to DC. Fair price and decent quality. Fit the Delta carry on size requirements without expanding. If the expansion is unzipped and filled then it probably won't pass the carry-on test. It's really light weight too.. I'd buy again without hesitation.

Checked luggage 29in

The 29in is very spacious & I didn’t give 5 stars bcuz I haven’t used it yet. The burgundy is a nice color & chose this color to get away from the typical black luggage I own. It will be easier to spot when it’s time to get my luggage after flights. I plan to use it for my 6 day trip to Aruba. It will allow space for everything I want to take & room for any souvenirs I may purchase while there. I hope it will hold up well & at least it does seem pretty durable.

Great carry-on

Excellent quality and easy to navigate on the plane and through the airport. Will buy another one to replace a two wheeled one we bought because it was less expensive. The Swiss Gear is most definitely worth the extra price.

Stable and sturdy

I like the stitching, the easy slide zippers, the fact that the slight expansion does not feel more flimsy in the expansion area. I like that there is a handle on the side and on the top, that the extension handles are sturdy and slide into place easily. I love that it has four swivel wheels so I can push or pull it in any direction. I like that it has pockets on the outside for easy access without having to open the whole thing or part of it. There is not really anything that I can say negative about it. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have only used it once, so I cannot really comment on its longevity. I even like the colour, not a really important thing to some people, but a nice bonus.

Durable & well designed

This SwissGear luggage we purchased has met our expectations. We used it for our first trip to the Caribbean last month and it proved to be very durable during our multiple flights. In addition, the price was very affordable compared to other similar luggage brands .

Malfunctioning right out of the box!

I ordered this on a whim because the zipper is broken on my trusty old Heys carry-on suitcase. I didn't want to spend the money for Heys, and I guess I've learned my lesson. I opened this one today and it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The zipper on the inside of the suitcase (lining) is missing the pull tab and the extendable pull handle doesn't slide up all the way on one side. I will return this item. Don't waste your time on this one. Scroll on!

5 star rating for manoeuverability if you are a 4-wheel user and only inside transit terminals, but if you like to pull your suitcase on 2-wheels and/or travel along city sidewalks etc. too, then the rating for this suitcase nose dives to a 2 star rating! It's aweful :P And I almost forgot, the pull-up handle on my suitcase also wouldn't stay engaged at the set level for me, so I had to use it at full extension and this was really uncomfortable. It's a nice suitcase but I wouldn't recommend this one for the price, you can do much better. Just my opinion.
