Saved pool liner from premature failure.
If I would have known about this product earlier. I would have incorporated it into the liner's installation. Installation was as easy as swimming around the pool.

This was the easy part
The hard part was reinstalling a 2’ section that had come out of the track while the pool was covered. After trying various methods found online to no avail, I ended up cutting the end of a 1” bannister at a 45 with my mitre saw. This job requires plenty of hot water which I have an abundance of after installing an on demand hot water tank under the kitchen sink. After filling several containers of hot water, I got in the pool and slowly poured hot water all over the sagging liner. Having a helper to make sure I had constant hot water would’ve made this process much easier as I discovered the more water poured, the better. The slower you pour the water, the better. Using the 45 degree point of the bannister and after heating the surface, I would stretch the liner by pushing the pointed end upward via the hardened top locking portion of the liner a couple of inches ahead of the portion I was about to force into the track. Using the flat 45 degree angled surface atop the 1” x 1” I’d cut, I’d push the liner up and into the track right where the top of sagging liner was still formed at a 90 and partially in the track, moving left to right. Its a pretty heavy gauge “25 year” liner and would stiffen up rather quickly even with temperatures in the 90’s and so I had to work fast before having to go refill my water containers. This was really what slowed me down, but I managed to handle it in an hour and a lot of this time was spent figuring out the best angle to use with my 1 x to push the liner into the track. Once this was done, I installed about 15’ of the product in question in about 5 minutes via a rubber mallet. I figure installing the liner lock for the whole 18 x 36 pool will take less than an hour. I just left it coiled up next to the pool, pushed it in by hand to the point where I felt resistance and then tapped it fully in with the mallet. It will be uneven and so you then go back and tap it fully in with the mallet to where it’s even and pretty.

Worked like a charm
We had struggled to get the pool liner to stay in place. Did all the online quick fixes. They would work but fall back down immediately. This product went in so easily but stayed very tight! It's exactly what we needed for a long lasting DIY fix. My only complaint would be your options for lengths. One was too small the other was way too much. I guess that can't be helped.

Excellent value for a pool
Our inground pool had a new vinyl liner installed last year. The liner kept slipping out of the metal coping in spots around the perimeter of the pool this past summer until I installed the Swimline Roll Pool Bead Lock. Not only does it hold the liner edge in place, it also looks GREAT. I highly recommend it.

Saved me thousands of dollars
I had a local pool company come out and give me an estimate on repairing my in-ground pool. They recommended I have the whole liner replaced, roughly $7,000 in repairs. I started doing my own research and realized that the only thing wrong with my pool was that the bead lock was dry rotted and not holding the liner in place. I drained the pool, and installed the bead lock myself, and the pool looks as good as new. A few tips: -Drain the pool ENTIRELY. It's very difficult to get the liner in the proper place with any water remaining. -Get yourself a quality rubber mallet and an inch and a half paint scraper/drywall putty knife and a sharp razor. That's the entirety of the tools needed for this job. -For my liner, cutting small 1-2" pieces of the bead lock was much easier to install and seemingly much more stable than installing it as a whole. Use your discretion.

Did the trick
Our pool liner kept dropping out of the channel that it was shoved into by the pool installer. I tried calling them several times to get them to come out and fix it but that was all in vain. So, I ordered this myself on Amazon, got to the house, unpacked it, stuffed it in the channel after pulling the liner back up and voilà! No more saggy liner! The bees knees.

This bead lock worked great. It saved my liner and I would definitely recommend buying it.
I love this product. It basically saved my liner. I'm gonna right a long explanation in the hopes that it might help someone in the future. We've been in our house for 2 years now and decided to replace our pool liner that had holes in it without knowing much about it.. I bought a normal beaded liner for my pool not knowing what the brand even was because I was told unibead was universal. I installed the liner and within a few days it started coming out. After a lot of googeling I found out I have an esther williams pool thats not even made anymore which takes a specific, thicker beaded liner. I couldn't find the right liner so I used the one I already bought. I bought this bead lock and drained my pool. I took hand tongs(ductwork tool) and tightened the metal liner track around the whole pool. I reinstalled the liner and then the bead lock. I used a flat head to tap it in around the whole pool. Its been two weeks and so far no more slipping so I would definitely recommend this product even though I have such a specific need for it.

Great solution for an older pool
Have an older in-ground pool and have been struggling with the "L" track trim for years as it kept popping out, cracking, and falling apart. After reading reviews, decided to give it a try. This trim locks in very nicely, the entire pool only has one seam, and it looks much nicer. Great product. (Found it hard to believe that some reviewers claimed it took 3 hours to install, but that was how long it took us)

Easy to install and did the job!
I installed a new pool liner and the track was old so the liner was not staying on when the grandkids came and stirred up waves having fun. Bought this product and my wife and I put this on in half an hour and it is holding up great no more problems so far!

It was a must have to complete our vinyl pool liner!
This product was great!!! After years of having nickels pounded into the side of our saggy pool liner we decided to put in a new liner and try this product. It took my wife and i about 3 hrs hanging sideways over the edge, but it has been weeks now nd the pool looks amazing! No more sags! We used two hammers, one normal claw and the second a chisel tip auto body hammer. She lined up the bead and i pounded it in inch by inch. Hard work but worth it!

Didn't work
Tried to use this in an inground pool. It barely fit in the gap and wouldn't stay in at all. DIdn't even help using a screen tool.
