Nice but not the greatest
This is a good set but the net droops no matter how tight it is tied.

Good starter set. Easy to put together. Looks cheap. Ball is smaller than I expected. We have used it for two weeks and it has lasted through 17-year-olds playing fairly rough. Compared to the other sets, that are more expensive I think it’s an OK purchase. The base of the poles need something heavier/ reinforcement. Net is good, covers about 10ft of pool. If you have younger kids, this should work fine.

Can be made sturdier but worth every penny
I knew I would never be completely happy with this set but I bought it knowing I could improve it at home. First thing I did was fill the base with concrete. Took about a half hour and 1 bag of concrete @ $3. I though about filling the post sections but held off. I cable tied some stainless anchor shackles to the grooves where the net ties on the post and tied some stainless carabineers to the net at the appropriate places for the tightness of net I wanted. I leave the posts in the bases and store the net around one of the post set ups during the summer. When I want to play I simply place the posts and clip the net up. When I don't want to it is out of the way in a minute or so. I can still break it down for winter storage. I saved myself a huge amount of money and ended up with a sturdy set up. It has never been pulled in the pool even by my 6' 5" nephews. Our pool is 14 feet across and the net exactly covers the entire thing . The posts sit about a foot out and the net is all string at that point.

Very Good Value!
Reading the many reviews for and against this pool volleyball set, I can only say it's more than adequate to put a net of fun across your pool. I like the fact you can put it up and take it down which I would never leave it up if not being immediately used. It's a "fun" net; not a serious volleyball net. We put up the pool "safety line" for a back-line and had a blast! As a note, I thought the volleyball was missing (it's shipped curled up inside one of the upright poles) and contacted the seller. They immediately shipped a replacement, no questions asked! Can't ask for better than that!

Great set, but missing volleyball.
After purchasing several other pool volleyball nets that NEVER worked with our pool, we were satisfied with this set! Net was a little long (which I knew while purchasing) but we just rolled it around the base stand. Set was sturdy, and held up well while playing! Only downfall, product discription says ball was included with this set (even says it on the box) however, we DID NOT get a ball!

Fantastically fun and portable!
I purchased this pool volleyball set to take with us to the Outer Banks to use at the pool at the house where a large group of couples would be staying (16 of us total!) The pool is kidney-shaped and has a narrower piece near the middle which is where we put the net and it had room to spare (could have accommodated even a larger span over the pool.) It was quite simple to fill the bases with water and the only challenge we had was the occasional drooping of the net which required a bit of tightening of the rope holding it up. The ball that came with the set was PERFECT for the pool (sturdier than a beach ball but not as potentially violent as a real volleyball.) We did establish a no spiking rule as that not only potentially compromised the net (that's the only time the supports tipped at all) but it might have resulted in some black eyes! Playing in the deep end was more challenging than in the shallow, but it was fun to try to come up with new ways to make it work and we rotated sides to keep it fair. It was possibly the most fun part of the trip and everyone was so glad I purchased this set! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it - especially as this was the BEST priced set I found in all of my research.

Disappointed
Quality not as sturdy as described. Missing piece to one of the polls and had to email Swimline directly. We will most likely get one year of play out of it.

Fun pool game.
Quality is only fair but 1/3 of price you would pay for good quality. My pool is kidney shaped with 12 foot across narrow part and this fits fine. Not sure it will last more than one season.

nice product. don't know it it worths $90
Fast delivery, nice product. don't know it it worths $90, but it is the cheapest on the market and the quality is there. Lot of fun around the pool.
