Love these waterproof cards

They're very durable plastic and we use them in the hot tub, pool and at the lake. They do need to be dried out individually, but easy to clean after use if needed.

Idea is great, design could use some help

We bought this to play cards while floating in the pool. While you can play cards, anything more than playing 21 is a little difficult. The bottom of the "card table" doesn't blow up so it is very flimsy. It is nearly impossible to have a stack of cards or to be able to "draw from the deck" because the smallest movement in the pool will make the "card table" wiggle and everything falls over. If the table would have been a blow up or if they would have added some sort of water proof hard insert, it would be a great investment. Our second complaint is the floating chair. Although my wife can sit in her chair and use the cup holder just fine, I can't. I'm 6' and I weight 205 pounds. When I sit in the chair the side buckles in and the cup holder is now folded over. If I put a beer can in the cup holder, my beer spills out. Even if I try a hard plastic cup with screw on lid and straw, the arms of the chair fold over and my drink spills out. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because we're still able to play board games on it (only because the board game has a hard board to keep the table from wobbling so much). Just remember to put a towel under the board of the game so it doesn't get wet.

Great Game for the Pool

My wife and I enjoy playing backgammon while in the pool during the hot Texas summers, but don't want to destroy another leather game board. So we bought this game to meet our needs. It's a great game for the pool and we no longer need to worry about soaking the game board. The game floats although we place it on a raft in hopes of extending the life of the board. The dice and game pieces float as well. The magnetized game board and pieces prevent the chips from sliding (a wonderful feature). The only negatives (they are slight and don't affect game play) is that the color on the game pieces/chips run a little bit and they are slightly too large in diameter for the backgammon game board when the chips are bunched together. However the size of the chips is not an issue on the chess board. We will buy this board again when/if necessary. Buy it, it's worth the money.

It really is comfortable!!

Very comfortable, just used it yesterday so I can't say anything about durability but it's easy to set up. Cards and everything else on the table stayed dry. Well.. except for human error ???? But.... it comes with water proof cards!! We love it????

Strange design

This is a great idea, but the manufacturer’s design is odd. The backgammon board is too narrow. The pieces do not fit! Very frustrating when playing a game. Also several of the dual use pieces needed gluing. When they become wet some cracked in half.

Buy with glue

Ours came with 2 doubling die and only a single 6 sided dice. Additionally, 2 of the pieces were not sufficiently glued together and came apart resulting in having to retrieve a magnet from the bottom of the pool. It works, and it is pool worthy but please get better about manufacturing and assembly quality

Broken piece upon deliver

I'd love to use this game. Our white rook piece was broken upon delivery. Swimline can you please replace it?

Great game set, but a piece separated the second time I used it :(

I absolutely love this game set. It is exactly what I was looking for. My reason for three stars is that we had used our game set for the second time last night in our Jacuzzi bathtub and one of the game pieces split apart (it wasn't dropped or anything to cause this - I went to move the piece and it separated). I couldn't tell how it was glued together, so I contacted Swimline this morning asking if they could replace the piece or if I could glue it myself or what. I got a quick response from their customer service (only 22 minutes) - but not what I hoped to hear: "We don’t have just the pieces separate. Our warranty would be to replace the item up to one year with a copy of your receipt, name and address." So I'll package it up and send it back to Amazon for a replacement and hope that my replacement set doesn't have the same problem. I want to believe that this is a fluke and I hope my replacement set will hold up better. Because ultimately, I really do love the game set.

Fonctionne comme souhaité

Nous avons déjà eu quelques occasions de l’utiliser avec le beau temps qu’il a fait. Le tout fonctionne bien mais l’eau peut s’accumuler sur la table car elle dégouline de nos bras quand on dépose les cartes en jouant. Ce n’est pas un problème avec des cartes en plastique. Maintenant qu’on l’a utilisé, j’aurais apprécié pouvoir acheter deux chaises de plus. On se débrouille tout de même avec deux personnes assises et deux debout quand on veut jouer à quatre. Certaines personnes ont trouvé difficile d’embarquer sur les chaises et de s’attacher à la table mais une majorité a réussit sans trop d’efforts. La table a même été utilisée dans le spa pour poursuivre une partie au chaud en fin de soirée.
