Works great for cleaning ceiling fans, cold air returns, and dust webs on the ceiling and walls.

We have a large 4 bedroom house with 52" 5-blade ceiling fans in every bedroom plus one in and office. I am 76 years old and over time it has become increasingly difficult to clean the fans since some of them are positioned over a bed. Trying to balance on a bed while looking up to clean a fan was definitely not an easy task. Those not over a bed required a ladder to accomplish dusting the fan. When I found these Swiffer ceiling fan dusters, I did have to initially do a good manual cleaning as the accumulated dust was more than these dusters could handle. Now that the initial cleaning has been done, I have been able to easily keep the fans clean without climbing on ladders or trying to balance on a bed. We also have a number of rooms with cold air returns at the ceiling. Again, an initial good cleaning needed to be done, but now I easily keep up them clean with using these duster. No longer will there be an accumulation of dust on these vents because the dreaded job has been put off. One wipe over them with these dusters keeps them dust free. Another great use for this Swiffer duster is to remove dust webs that magically sometimes appear on the ceilings or in the corners where the walls meet the ceilings. The extended handle on the duster makes it so very easy to just walk around the rooms and remove all of the dust webs. Let's face it, cleaning house and dusting is really not a fun time, but it needs to be done. Using the Swiffer dusters makes it so much easier to keep up with dusting before it gets to be a tough job. Since we have a large house, live in the country where we get road and field dust, and also have a number of pet parrots that generate dust, keeping this house dust free has been a major, if not insurmountable, task. The Swiffer duster products really do make this chore so much easier and faster. This doesn't mean you can let dusting go and expect miracles from these dusters, but, when used on a regular basis, they do make the job easier to keep up with. Incredible for high ceiling fans

Like the old favorite blue dusters, this extension pole 360 duster is incredible, it really works well. I have an inordinate number of large-5blade ceiling fans. I am lax in dusting them because the ceilings are also higher than average and requires a regular stepladder to reach and clean them. Heavy dust accumulates on them in a couple of seasons. I just got my new duster out of the box and in less than 5 minutes I have two fans completely dusted. It was so easy, and I felt much safer standing on the floor than up there on the ladder with 5 52" blades near my head and neck. 'No job too high or too low' according to the box, and you can believe that high at my house will be taken care of annually! If I didn't hate housework so much, I might admit that dusting with this new product was almost fun.

Great for cleaning my ceiling fan!

This, plus the heavy duty dusters, was exactly what I needed to clean my very hard to reach ceiling fan. It removed every bit of dust and dust bunny (I did say it was very hard to reach; cleaning was impossible otherwise), and it didn't take me a lot of strength either. I'll be holding on to this one for a very long time.

We can reach the high ceiling of our family room with ease. As well as other hard to reach areas.

Easy to use

Easy to use and works well. I hate cleaning my ceiling fans and this made it so easy. I even dusted some tables and the fireplace mantle with it.

Great for dusting difficult to reach places

We have an intricately carved wooden canopy above our bed that collects a lot of dust and is difficult to clean. I bought this extender for dusting the canopy and it works great. Now it is easy to clean it without having to step on the bed. I also use it to dust the crown molding alongside the ceiling. This extender helps my reach these taller places and the Swifter duster collects really well the dust and keeps it in.

Not bad but misleading/fraudulent packaging

First thing first: is it clever marketing or fraud when they advertise it and sell it as “6 duster refills” but you need 2 dusters at one time, so it’s really 3 dusters. I say it’s fraud by Unilever and Swiffer but I guess that’s how they do all their business. On to the actual review: I had problems getting the dusters on the cleaning stick. It’s not very easy to figure out, and I was afraid of ripping it if I pulled it on too hard. Once I did manage to get it on, it’s not bad! Does a pretty good job of reaching under the furniture and collecting dust. Whether you have lots or little dust, it almost feels like the dusters are for a single job. So in that sense, it’s a very expensive way of cleaning if you have to replace dusters every time you clean.

Great Product for the Price

I dusted my whole 2 story house (and my car) in under an hour! This product picks up tons of dust and does so quickly! The one I received was solid and extended and retracted only when I wanted it to. It worked perfectly and allowed me to reach all areas of my house. Would recommend for anyone who is dusting with a cloth or old fashioned duster.

not thrilled overall

this is VERY hard to put the dusters on. it works well ... but also it is really only 3 refills and not 6. you need two for one use. kind of misleading. it seems to clean walls and high places well. mixed feelings on it overall.

Light weight but wasteful

Light weight makes for dusting walls/ceilings easier. I found the "replaceable" dusters (they look like regular swiffer dusters - you just use 2 at a time with this. Will not waste money on refills. Other options preferred.

I use it for all my high places on top cupboards and then under covers and the top of windows and window ledges, and all those high places that I couldn’t reach before it’s good
