Polyester, but excellent for the price!
First let me say that, for the price, I think these are excellent sheets. Assuming the product info hasn't been changed/updated, it seems these folks leaving one and two star reviews with capital letters proclaiming "the sheets are not Egyptian cotton!!!" are really reviewing their own ability to read descriptions (which is not a fair use of Amazon's review system). The description does not claim these are cotton, only that the quality is similar and the thread count is high. They are indeed polyester. As someone who is lazy about reading product descriptions, I actually thought these were cotton at first too ...but the price just didn't add up so I read more carefully. I don't love polyester sheets, but I thought I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did. The only reason I'm knocking a star off the rating is because the color was not as I expected. I got "camel" and think the color is a lot more "butternut" or "mustard" than camel. They're kind of a golden yellow. They still go with the rest of my bedding so not a deal breaker. We have had problems getting sheets deep enough to fit our mattress, so that was my big concern here: We have a deep mattress plus a 3 inch memory foam topper and the fitted sheet to this set fit fine. The flat sheet is not long enough to tuck in on the sides though, if that's your thing. It came down about an inch below our mattress. I slept on the sheets for the first time last night and found them to be very soft and comfortable. It being winter, I can't tell you how the sheets would do on super hot nights...they seem breathable enough. I liked that the set came with four pillowcases and not just two. A pleasant surprise since I didn't notice that prior to purchasing. The threads did pucker a bit on the flat sheet and pillowcases after washing, something you often find with cotton but I wasn't expecting with polyester. Ultimately it's not a big deal and I'm still satisfied for the price I paid.

Silky microfiber sheets
These are microfiber sheets, a little heavier weight than some I have had. They are silky, nice feeling sheets. I do prefer cotton, but these are workable. The term Egyptian Quality, as others have noted, does not mean Egyptian cotton. The use of it seems to me to be meant to make people think they're getting Egyptian long-staple cotton sheets. The price should be your clue that they are not made of that. They are nothing like Egyptian cotton. They are not bad quality microfiber, but cotton, they're not. I like that they come with 4 pillow cases. Warning, if you have cats who like to "make bread" on the pillows with their claws, these snag instantly and the threads pull. If you don't have cats, go for it.

Wash before use.
I really like these sheets. They're really comfortable. The elastic straps help keep the sheets on and smooth, AWESOME. I ordered 2 sets. Extra pillow cases AWESOME. I strongly suggest washing before use. For some reason mine had a really strong NEW fabric smell which was just too much. AMENDMENT: So, I have these sheets 5 stars and followed my own advise and wherefore using....unknowns to me this set was damaged. I thought it was maybe the fabric softener sheet caused the problem but not so or it would have washed out on the second wash. There was no packing slip and it's been about three months since I received them....so disappointed????????

Love my new sheets!
Affordable, soft, pretty vibrant color, 2 extra pillow cases. The are a little big form my mattress, but they have elastic all the way around. They feel great! I will buy some more of these!

Love these sheets!
I love these sheets! Very, very comfortable. I actually sleep better with these sheets on my bed, they're that comfortable! Been using them for over a year with regular washings and they are still in great shape. The fitted sheet still holds tight and has never slipped a corner off. I will be buying these again for sure!

Misleading product title
Watch the product description - it is misleading. They are not cotton, they are microfiber. I thought I was buying cotton sheets. What does 1500 thread count mean if they are not cotton? They are very thin. They are, however, super soft. I'm going to give them a try. The last time I bought microfiber sheets they were way too hot to sleep in and I hated them. I will update my review after I've washed and slept on them.

Soft, cool, and comfortable!
Stunning sheet set! Fits my oversized California king mattress with room to spare. Color is solid and very pink! King size pillow cases are perfect. This set is soft, cool, and comfortable. I've already purchased a second set of plain white, which arrived in time for a prewash. Fantastic value! Fast shipping! Amazing quality that I am convinced will last a very long time! I'm already considering a fall color......
