Great lovely soft sheets/not 2nd pair:(
I really like these sheets. They truly are soft and the stripe effect really makes it a pretty set. There is a smell when it first comes out of the packaging but that does not last. I have a very sensitive nose so believe me, my set's smell did not hang around past 1 maybe 2 washes. They are fine now. I use the pillow case and have no troubles with headache or just bad smell irritations. I highly recommend these sheets if you like soft bedding. They are worth the price. **Update July 29, 2015 ** Bought the lavender set and am sooo disappointed. I do not know what happened !! The white sheets we first bough were truly so soft I was amazing and luxurious. These lavender ones are not. They are from Impressions by Luxor Treasures while he white were from Luxor TReasures - is that the difference? ALso my first ones were listed as 100% Egyptian while this pair is states genuine. What a bummer!!! I do not like the feel of these - like regular sheets not something one paid over $50 for. Drop the 5 star down to 2 Star.

Split king sheets in a deep purple
These sheets fit perfectly, even the top king sheet seems to be a little wider on the sides so you have more overlap, which I love, not sure why, but seems to be a bit more than other split king sheets. The only sad part is that it is only 300 thread count and not quite as soft as other sheets I have that are 500 and up thread count, but I will continue using them, as they do fit very well and wash up nicely...

Nice Sheets Without Breaking the Bank
I like nice sheets but will not pay the exorbitant prices of department stores. I have ordered online before and been sorely disappointed but in this case I'm a very happy camper. I needed black sheets and these are incredibly rich looking with the black on black stripes. Perfect with my white coverlet. I followed directions and washed before using so there was no new fabric smell and they feel lovely and smooth. The bottom sheet is a perfect fit for my California King bed. My one wish would be for the top sheet to be a little bit longer. Shipment was a little slow but other than that I am very pleased with my item and transaction. So much so that I'm about to order sheets for my guest room.

Okay, Not Bad, Just Not Right For Me
These sheets are nice enough for the price, I guess, and were a good interim choice for us when we ordered our adjustable split king bed. But I won't be using them much longer as I really don't like them. I had to check the tags after the first night as I couldn't believe they were cotton, as usually I find cotton sheets cooling, but these make me sweat! They are really thick (others may like that) and I just don't find that they breathe. I can't even use the pillowcases as they are so hot. They do seem generously sized, but that may not be a good thing for a latex adjustable as the mattress isn't so thick and the fitted sheet comes off all the time when the head is raised. They have washed well and I haven't noticed shrinkage, and the color has not faded. Others may find them just fine, if they like a heavier sheet. Just not me.

Not bad, but not as soft
Not bad, but not as soft, or well made, as the 300 thread-count Organic Cotton sheet set sold by Target under the "Theshold" name, (Indian cotton). By the way, don't be fooled by claims of higher than 300 thread counts. It's too much to go into, but anything over 300 is marketing speak for stranding multiple threads to form a single thread, which they then count as 2,3,4 or 5 threads in their count, depending on how many they used. In other words, those 1500 thread-count sheets you were looking at, won't have the softness—over time—of a properly made 260-300 tc sheet. Also, don't be fooled by the "Egyptian" cotton naming. Nearly all cotton coming out of Africa or the Middle East these day is called "Egyptian" cotton.

Fitted sheet barely covers
These sheets supposedly fit a mattress up to 18 inches. I have a 12 inch mattress with a 3 inch topper. The fitted sheet barely fits. The sides wont even tuck under the mattress and my mattress pad is showing. The corner pockets did barely fit and I hope it stays on. The pillow cases are pretty short too. Don't expect them to fit a queen size pillow. These sheets are pretty thin also. But since they are on the guest bed, I hope they will last for a while. I really do like the color (red), very rich and goes with my red, white and blue quilt. Good quality Olympic Queen sheets are well over $100, so for the price, I like these just fine. Just wish they fit better.

I was expecting something softer. I like the looks..these sheets are very elegant in appearance. However to me they aren't soft. I would give them 2 stars because of that. It's very difficult to go from Egyprian cotton to these sheets... I can't really comment on durability as I have had them only a few weeks.
