I am a tool and die maker. Been using Sunex tools for 8 years now. I am happy with them. Got this set to go with my new Dewalt impact. As expected, quality is good and support will be good. I did have an issue with the 1/4 size bit. The 1/4 is slightly oversizes and would not fit in the screw/bolt. I had to polish the coating off to try and fit it. Still, without the coating was oversized. I kept polishing the tip of the bit till I reached the proper size. We are talking about 0.002 to 0.003. Tiny numbers but when it comes to steel and fittings it makes a difference. Two of my co workers have same Sunex set. One had same issue as me and the other one did not.

This is a nice set, note there are several larger sizes

Overall this is a nice set of hex impacts. There are several very large hex sizes in this set that I probably didn't need but its a nice set to have. I have some chrome hex bits that have broken so wanted a impact rated set to use.

I hope these hold up

Well bought these since I’m a tool maker and socket head cap screws are my daily. Breaker bar and a Rachet are all I’ve used them for the past few months. Bought a new dewalt the 20v max highest torque. Used them for 4 stripper plates on a heavy duty M14 bolt about 6in went setting 1 tested with breaker bar setting 2 tested with bar then setting 3. Total 36 bolts started burr on sides. Battery powered impact Damage already. 160$ Not happy

This is without a doubt the best set of hex drivers out there. I spent a fairly long time browsing different websites trying to find a really good set. This one easily takes the cake. I love the size range they give you. I bought the one that comes with the MAE and Standard hex drivers and they're nicely packed into 1 single case. It's a really solid very well made set of hex drivers. Very impressed and very pleased. Arrived at my door within 2 days. Zero complains, no chance this deserves anything less than 5 stars. That's what it gets from me. Thanks Sunex, very impressed!

Beast!

I have broken all other tool sets like this one, I just can’t seem to break these. This was my first Sunnen purchase but I am definitely replacing more of my tools with Sunnen.

DRIVE END SHATTERED, less than a month of use.

UPDATED REVIEW: 10-10-22 The drive end shattered with less than a month of limited use. Sunex tool = POS quality. Returned both sets. In summary, I purchased 2 sets for our shop at the beginning of September 2022. First set, the 1/4 impact hex socket didn't fit 1/4". Had to be replaced. The second set shattered at the drive end with less than a month's use and was an extremely sharp piece of metal flying across the shop. Safety is a priority at our shop, as a result we have a NO SHRAPNEL policy. Both sets were sent for a refund. Also, had to pay to send one back that hasn't broken yet, but ~$8 is a small price to pay for shipping than making a trip to the ER for shrapnel removal. 1/4 impact hex didn't fit any 1/4" bolt we owned, and the 3/8 impact was extremely tight. To be fair, we purchased 2 of these SAE sets, and the other worked. We must have gotten an improperly machined socket or a mislabeled one. Very disappointed.

This product is mean! I love it. The quality of the tools and the case, for the price, is absolutely unbeatable. I can hold this case straight up, open it and not a single tool will fall out of its place. The tools are solid and nicely labeled. I know this set is going to last forever so I wont have to buy it again but if I did I definitely would. Great great product. Thank you.
