Lightweight & flattering

This should be perfect for travel. The material won't show creases and it is very lightweight. The strap will be useful on windy days. I can't rate protection from the sun yet as I haven't worn it. My only wish is that it was available in a light gray.

This is a great travel hat

I bought this hat for a cruise to Mexico. We haven’t gone yet but I’ve been trying it out as we ride around our neighborhood on our golf cart. I think it will be perfect. I really like the chin tie as it helps keep it on when the weather turns windy. Should be perfect for the ship.

Lovely but functional

Just as described, and a lovely color blue. I got this for a trip in May, and looking forward to wearing it, as it will hold its shape even though being packed up.

The PERFECT hat!

I bought the 1st of these hats, the beige hat, at my medical clinic as I have cancer-prone skin. I now own this same hat in 3 colors (ordered on Amazon!)!!! I wear them all the time. I've worn my 1st hat over a year on many trips, and it's still in great shape. It's soft and comfortable, the most comfortable sun hat I've ever had. It's adjustable for your head size! It can be mashed into a carry bag or suitcase and pops right back into shape. It's very light weight. It has a chin strap, so stays on when it's windy. It's very sturdy!

Not the most flattering, but very useful

I packed this in a suitcase, smashed completely flat. It absolutely survived the trip to Europe and back. It gives good shade for my face. I would not say it’s the most attractive hat, but it certainly travels better than anything I’ve ever had.

Great Travel Hat

I used this product in northern tropical Australia this fall and it kept the sun off me and looked great on. My tour companions gave many compliments on the attractive hat. They wanted to know where I bought it. It rolls up and returns to the shape you want when unrolled.

Love it! light weight, durable, packable, washable, string attached

I love this hat! This is my second purchase; I got paint on my first hat. This hat is light weight.and durable. I like that I can roll it up and put it in my purse, backpack, suitcase etc. and it opens up perfectly. I like that it is washable. I washed my first hat no problem (the next time - the paint of course did not come out). I like that it has a string attached that keeps this hat on my head even in quite a breeze. I don't have to worry that I might have to chase or lose my hat! When I received my second hat, it had been packed in such a way that it had a "bend" in it. Not to worry - I soaked the hat with water, and put a towel in the cap part and shaped the brim to let it dry.

Poor sewing and finishing

I have purchased Sunday Hats in the past and have been pleased with the quality. This particular hat has sewing flaws in the seams and it looks like they may fray and in addition, the hat has a noticeable seam at the front of the hat.
