Wonderful hat -- my second one!

About 20 years ago I had purchased a Sunday Afternoons hat at a street fair. You can imagine after this time it was getting a bit tired and since it was white, got a bit dingy. After hand washing it was really wrinkled so I decided to get a new one. I chose this neutral color and it is comfortable and definitely works to keep the sun off my head, neck and face. The chin strap works great on a breezy day so I don't worry about it blowing off. Great value! My husband decided to buy one as well and he loves his.

This is the third or fourth Adventure Hat that I have purchased. Best hat for covering face and neck from sun. Love it for primarily fishing. Allows me to fish all day.

Best sun hat ever.

This is my third Adventure hat in about 20 years. My second one is still wearable but I needed a newer only for weekends. I am a professional plant breeder who spends many hours in the field looking at plants. It keeps the sun out of my eyes due to the dark lining and downward slope of the brim. Stays on my head when the wind kicks up.Love the floppy neck protector. Very durable. I always hand wash and it is dry by the next day.

LOVE this hat!!!

Where has this hat been all my life? First off, I have an unenviably large head that most “one size fits all” hats do not fit. The large is perfect and can be adjusted for a more custom fit. It is very light-weight and can be easily folded or rolled to put into my small hiking backpack, and it doesn’t make my head feel hot or hair sweaty. The chin strap is very helpful when it’s windy, which is frequently in the Midwest, but can easily be tucked back if not needed. And lastly, the neck flap keeps the sun and heat off of my neck, which is an issue with very short hair. I will buy at least one more and highly recommend!

Bring your own shade. Good sizing for Large head.

Great hat. I use it for working as a landscaper. Nice cinch strap and chin strap for custom fit and windy days. Good full brim and neck-length coverage. Lost my old one that was over 12 years old (still works great), so I had to have another. They added a fancy southwest band to the front, whatever. Hands down the best sun hat Ive ever owned. Size Large goes plenty big ("one size fits all" is usually too small). Original one was purchases at a birding store on Cape Cod. Funny, I found my old one in my couch right after receiving the new one. Two is better than one! Seeing many imitators on Amazon, but this one is worth the few dollars extra.

Fabulous hat ruined by seller folding the brim and large crease

This hat is a super and lovely colour, but buyer beware. I ordered 2 different Sunday afternoons hats through Amazon LCC global and both were needlessly folded through the brim, which has ruined the hat for wearing. This could easily have been avoided, the packaging was large enough not to require this and by rotating the folding though 90 degrees the brim could have been left flat. I am fuming. Far too much palaver to return to the USA, fingers burned never again.

Brilliant sun protection hat!

I bought this hat in the Chaparral/Charcoal colour. I ordered it before I had read the reviews on the Amazon.com website and after ordering it I read those and was very concerned that the quality would be poor. When it arrived I was glad to see that it was as good as two others I had bought from another vendor. It is made in Vietnam, same as the bad reviews had said. My other two hats were also made in Vietnam, not USA. In fact I was so happy with my first purchase (a light cream colour one with a black under brim) I was prompted to buy one in purple (which l also love). So I decided to buy this one in the dark neutral shade when I saw it had become available from the Global seller. Quality great, comfort excellent (adjustable), extremely light yet with a chin strap for security in high winds, brilliant UV protection (great for Rosacea sufferers) and stylish!! Well I am happy with it! Love it!

Love it, covers well and is light

Love this hat, I wear it all the time in the sun, very helpful when doing work outside, covers the back of the neck too so you don't burn at the back. It's somewhat water repellent, and very light with quick tightening draw string under so that it doesn't fly away when windy.
