Request they send it alone in a BOX and without other merch or it gets damaged

Had to return this item for replacement. Bafflingly, they sent this straw hat (that actually isn't so mega-resilient) in a mere floppy poly bag, and the brim was bent/damaged in an irreparable way --couldn't be bent back etc. The integrity of the brim was ruined. Replacement did arrive in a box -- but with some other stuff I co-incidentally ordered that smashed the hat up, this time not fatally. Like others, I wish the velcro were longer at the back by the bow where it seems it wouldn't take much of a nudge for the hat to detach. They trumpet the hat's foldability but I gotta wonder if that might mess up the brim having seen the initial hat's damage where the shape really was taken out of the brim and it looked lopsided and uneven. That said, a wildly flattering hat. Needed a brimmed beach hat where I could lean back in my chair and there was no brim in the back. This was a genuine Sunday Afternoons hat (Tweed) and seemed well-made.

Fantastic and Fits Perfect

I love his hat!! Love all the sun protection with the super wide brim. It is so easy to put on and fold up to make it compact to travel with.

This is nearly exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a wide brim. This has a great wide brim that shades my eyes and wraps around enough to cover the tops of my ears when my hair is pulled up. The band is adjustable. It looks flimsy, but it is not. It holds very well.

Got a total knock off of Sunday Afternoon visor from seller "42N8 collective"

Let me start off by saying that Sunday Afternoons products are of high quality and are wonderful products. I've purchased and owned several of their hats for my kids and myself. This review is about a product that I received claiming it was made by Sunday Afternoons, when in fact it was a complete knock off. Please refer to attached photos. I ordered two hats from Sunday Afternoons via two different Amazon sellers, and the "tweed" colored hat that I ordered from seller "42N8 collective" arrived as a solid brown colored hat that looks nothing like the "tweed" made by Sunday Afternoons. There were no labels or tags by Sunday Afternoons, and it was made of very different flimsy material. The "bow" is actually just a velcro strap, with a skimpy piece of velcro, unlike the solid stiffer bow on the cream genuine SA hat with a much more generous strip of velcro for adjustability. The cream colored SA hat is definitely UPF 50, while the brown colored knock off clearly is not (sparser weaving and less material - hence lighter and flimsier). Again please refer to attached photos. Also, notice that all the other colors offered by SA offer prime shipping and free returns, whereas items sold by 42N8 collective offer no such thing. Buyer beware of products from this seller. They are knockoffs!! Otherwise, I highly recommend genuine Sunday Afternoons products.

Wide visor

It doesn't stay on as well as I had hoped. The velcro attaches in the straw bow in the back and doesn't hold as it should. It has a great wide brim and I love that it rolls ip so it is easy to pack. I am keeping it because of it's wide brim and the small space it takes up in a suitcase.

Love this Visor!

I hate hats, but melanoma runs in my family so I at least need to shield my face. I love this visor because the brim is literally huge. I love that it covers my ears too. It's easy to wrap it around your head and stick the velcro "bow" wherever needed to fit snugly on your head. And the fact that it rolls up into a neat little cone for travel is an added bonus. Highly recommended and I'll probably buy more in other colors!

I LOVE this hat

I LOVE this hat! It's super comfy, lightweight, and I love that it rolls up so easily! I use this hat for paddle boarding and outdoor activities where I don't want to overheat. Love the SPF protection feature. And it's super cute! The only negative I would say this has, is it doesn't provide much protection for the back of my neck. =(
