Not what I expected
too light weight for the wind in my area

too lightweight and too shallow
easy to assemble and clean. The light is also great. it is too shallow. after a couple bird bathe in it and flick water everywhere it is empty. Too lightweight. I have garden stones weighing it down, but once or twice a week I find it knocked over. I have seen 5-6 grackles/ starling bathing or sitting on the edge as well as a squirrel will jump up on it and tip it over. Lastly, too shallow for my solar fountain.

Beacon Point Solar Lighted Bird Bath
It is a very nice looking bird bath...however, the solar light hasn't worked since I received it and I have had no response to a message I sent them as per directions on the instruction book.

Looks great in yard
Looked very cheap at first and not well made , but after putting it together and add water it holds and looks great in yard looks old and rustic and lights are not bright and over powering to take to away from it , orange light that's pleasant at night. I added a bird water pump that has sprays water and lights the two are perfect together and both lights looks great at night .

Structurally defective
I am editing this after LESS THAN A YEAR of ownership and use. The plastic base is weak, and especially on hot days the fountain will not stay upright - it tilts to one side or the other because there is no rigidity between the base and he tower that holds the birdbath. Basically this is a piece of plastic junk that I now must throw away because it is INHERENTLY DEFECTIVE. As noted below, I filled the tower with sand, but that didn't cure the weakness of the plastic. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Frankly I was disappointed in the color, since the red is "dark pinkish." With the base, the overall plasticky effect was too much; solved that with a $2.99 can of dark bronze metallic - after deglossing, I painted the base and light enclosure. Much better with the base painted a contrasting color! Birds seem to enjoy the large size. Found it necessary to fill the stand with sand (as manufacturer suggests), which enhanced stability - it's plastic so it moves around with sun exposure, wind and so on.

Seller is amazing product is amazing
The seller was amazing and got back to me fast I forgot to pull off the tab where the batteries go the seller told me to check I did and now my beautiful red birdbath looks amazing during the day and at night I would definitely buy from this seller again

Good value, birds use it
You don't need to light a bird bath for the birds who don't bath in the dark. But the solar light makes a nice addition to the yard. Mine was to be near the driveway, so the light marks the end of the driveway. It is easy to assemble, and is very light, so easy to tip and clean, but doesn't blow over in the wind if you level it carefully.

LOVE WATCHING THE BIRDS ENJOY DRINKING FROM THIS BIRD BATH
We love this bird bath. It's so nice to have one at this height. We have birds of all kinds come to our backyard and we love watching them drink from it. We even have ad a few larger birds splashing in it. At night the beautiful solar light shines light a beacon.

Would not recommend this item
The solar power does not work, but it was to much hassle to package it all up to send it back. I did not realize it was plastic so I have had to put two bricks on the base to stop it from blowing over. I’m not sure if it was worth the money I paid for it.

Plastic but blends in nicely. Would not keep outside in winter. Height was very acceptable.
