Nice but
So this is so soothing and refreshing, but it so inconvenient that it doesn’t have a pump or spray nozzle, you have to pour the water in your hands and the bottle is glass and a bit heavy.

Lovely scent and nice feel, but contains alcohol denat
I love the gingery scent of Sulwhasoo products. And, this balancing water comes in a beautiful glass bottle that is worthy of display. It feels light and refreshing. It absorbs quickly and leaves my normal but "mature" skin feeling hydrated. I didn't like that no instructions are on the label. The brand website says this toner can be used after their serum, but I usually use toner after cleansing and before a serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. Since I am not using their full line, I used this as I normally would, and it seemed to work that way. The other thing I didn't love about this is that it contains alcohol denat as the second ingredient. Although it didn't seem too drying for my skin type, this may work better or worse for others. It also contains added fragrance and perfuming ingredients. So, it may not be best for sensitive skin.

The packaging is just gorgeous, the bottle has a nice weight to it and it has a pretty pearl effect on the glass. There’s a small foil seal inside the bottle when you take the cap off, so you know it’s new. Consistency is a little bit thicker than micellar water, like a very runny gel. Scent is a little astringent, just smells like other botanical toners and waters I’ve tried. It's a little difficult to get enough out of the bottle, it's not very graceful to shake it out through the flow reducer. I have sensitive skin and this does not seem to irritate it; I will update this review if that changes! =) P.S. The bottle I received in Feb 2023 expires in either January or May 2025 (hard to tell which is the month and which is the day).

Beautiful glass bottle, nice product
This balancing water has a consistency somewhere in between a liquid and a serum. It absorbs quickly without leaving behind any greasy or oily residue, and it does a good job of cleaning, soothing, and moisturizing my skin. I have sensitive skin, and this balancing water does not irritate it and does not have a strong scent. It comes in a lovely glass bottle that looks great sitting on the counter, but it’s a little annoying to actually get the product out of it (could just be me not wanting to work that hard!). It’s expensive but a little bit goes a long way so this should last for quite awhile.

Great consistency toner from Korea
Korean skincare is next level and Sulhwasoo is a well known brand with good ingredients and better effects. Hydrating and light with a pleasant scent.

Divine scent
Sulwhasoo is one of the best Korean skincare brands and one of my personal favorites. This balancing water comes in a heavy glass bottle and smells divinely. Even though called "water," this is basically a toner. In the instructions, it is advised to be applied after a serum, but toners usually go onto skin before a serum. So I guess, that's up to you. My skin doesn't thirst for a toner. I prefer serums myself, but this is a good product even though not a must-have for me personally.
