Good for plus-size bodies! Smells weird when it comes, and the printing wasn't the best.

Like the headline says, it fits really nice for plus size people! If you're on the thinner side it might be a little big for you, but this apron is really good for those that are a little bigger. It does smell a little odd when you take it out of its packaging, but a simple wash or even hang out to air out, its fine. (my cat was obsessed with the smell, no matter what I did I had to put it in a locked room till it aired out or he would try to mess with it.) Some of the printing of the words were faded, and I wish there was more cooking instructions, rather than portion sizes or definitions (or just in general more cooking instructions, how to cook things at what temperature and how long, etc.)

Nice, sturdy apron - and quite handy.

We bought these as presents for our kids and were quite pleased with them. The fabric is very sturdy and should wear well. Printing the information upside down so that you can simply lift the apron up to read it is wonderfully practical. Several reviewers have complained that they are too long. Yes, they are long, but good grief, people! Here's a couple of hints: tie a knot in the back of the neck strap to lift the entire apron higher. Or before you tie the waist, fold it over as many times as you need to and then tie it. Problem solved! Duh. The fact that it is long means that it's going to be useful to just about anyone. The only reason that we gave it four stars instead of five is that we found the selection of information printed on the apron a bit curious. We immediately thought of a few items that we think would have been far more useful than some of the things they elected to include. Other than that, a very satisfactory product.

Clever; Great Hostess Gift

Made of sturdy cotton. And so clever, that all the measurements & cook times are printed UPSIDE DOWN---so that the person doing all the work of cooking can look down & see what's what. Voila! It's made of sturdy unbleached cotton & the sizing is more than generous, so it'll fit any cook. I bought one for myself & love it, but I have a few in reserve for the wonderful hosts in my life.

Easy to read measurements and big pockets!

My family got this for me as a holiday gift because I'm notorious for asking questions like, "How many cups are in a quart, again?" I even bought a trivet from crate and barrel with the measurements on this apron around the same time they gave me this as a gift. So funny. I like the apron, tho, not only because it has big pockets and is a fully body apron, but because the measurements can be read clearly upside down. That is, when I look down at the hem, they're upright and easy to read. Very cool buy. Glad I have it!

One great heavy duty apron

One great heavy duty apron. The material of the apron is real heavy duty, it feels as though it will last a few generations. I also loved the convenience of all of the information on the apron. My main complaint with the apron, resulting in my review only being 4 Stars, is that the writing seems like it will come off really easily. I have only used it a few times, and it seems that I am already losing some of the print. Overall I would say that it is a great apron, with the novelty of the print, but don't expect it to last a lifetime.

Really well done, just wish it came in different sizes.

Love this.... just wish it came in more sizes. It's a bit large for our daughter, who was the receiver of this gift. Still, it should help her when she's cooking, even if it is a bit too big for her...... The print is on the lower section , so it can be hitched up at the waist by folding it over itself in that area before tying, so it works out okay.

great idea for the cook

Purchased this item for my son, the grill master, as a gift. He's not usually impressed with many things, but he really liked this. It's printed upside down so that when you're wearing it, you only need to lift the hemline to read all the info. I can't believe all the info. It's a large apron which will fit a more robust individual, but I don't find it a problem that it totally wraps around me. It also has a small pocket on the chest area which my son liked. Not sure how the print will hold up in multiple washings so I may purchase a second one for the info. This is a great gift idea.

Great idea, poor design

I love the idea of this apron. I am constantly interrupting my cooking and baking to figure out a measurement conversion of some kind. And, it offers other useful info too. Since the type is presented upside down, theoretically, it would be easy to read while wearing. The problem with the apron for me is that it's the size of a tablecloth... too large to wear comfortably & somewhat difficult to read when the info you want is plastered on your backside. My fix is to ask Alexa for the info while wearing a regular apron.

Good, Quality Apron

Was a gift for my fiancé who's a foodie and likes to cook. He loved it. Arrived fast and good quality. The tips are neat and the upside down writing is a cool feature.

Great Apron just a little big!

I was surprised how hard it was to fine a apron that was not aimed at women or the 'BBQing bloke'! This is perfect for anyone, it was a present for my 30 something bread baking brother or just didn't want to get flour everywhere, but the cooking guidelines etc on the 'skirt' section is not only a great novelty but also really useful! The only downside is that it is quite large, my brother is only 5.6 and it was really long on him, but this maybe a bonus for some! Thick and good quality material. It came in nice packaging too, this made it more presentable as a gift.
