Happy with these
I’ve been starting a garden on my muddy sloped yard, I tried regular hiking shoes but they didn’t go up high enough and rinsing them off just got water and mud into the shoe. These are very comfortable, easy to step into and step out of and have decent traction (nothing would stop me from slipping on sloped muddy clay). On days where my hands are cold (I don’t live in a cold climate), my feet have stayed relatively warm. I will say, a hard few hours of work and some sweat builds up around the ankles and my lower pant legs are a bit wet. This doesn’t bug me because if it could breathe then water would get in too. The tops are not tight (kinda perfect for my calves + pants) but again I’m usually on a slope so my ankles are bent and it’s probably trapping moisture. They do not rub uncomfortably anywhere and the weight is slightly heavier than I expected but still within reason. Last, I appreciate the basic black without the pink flowers, yellow daisies, “feminine” patterns, etc…

Top split after 10 mos
I love the boots but hate they failed so fast. I had same problem with “muck” boots- they split in 3 months. I’m going to try again and get “heavier duty” ones. ??

Warm, Dry fun styled, EASY On & Off rain boot
These Mesa rain Bogs boots of neoprene & rubber, 100% water proof & warm boots are great. They say rain, but I work outside daily & in these past snowy days, I have had no problems with them keeping my feet warm & dry at 20* as high weather. I used for shoveling drive/sidewalks in cold snow, I had warm, dry feet at end. I’m shorter legged & have a thicker calf area of almost 16” around the thickest part of my calf, about where these boots hit. They are 14” from bottom of heel to top of boot & it hits me 3 & 5/8” under my knee cap. Beside being easy pull on.... I LOVE the built in nub area on heel .. (see heel area in photos) this clever, great feature allows you to also Easily & quickly get your boot OFF! Take toe of one boot & put on that nub on back of the other & pull foot out. Then use your toe of bootless foot & put on nub of booted foot & pull 2nd foot out of boot. Of all the boots like these I have had in the past, NONE had this cool, efficient feature. (Usually have to Sit or stand, grabbing heel & pulling like crazy. Not in these. We go off road jeeping & have needed taller boots to get thru muck. This I have NOT tested yet, as to how easy they will clean up but I’m hoping for great results in that area as well. You will not be disappointed in these Mesa Bogs. Get outside & enjoy hiking & nature in these.

Terrific boot!
These are great! They look and feel terrific and are a great value. They are easy on and easy off! I have worn them in the rain for the past two days and my feet are completely dry and comfortable. I went a half size up so I could wear heavier socks inside- glad I did! Wonderful product with great value- you won't be disappointed.

Quality Rain/Muck Boots
My last pair of Bog rain boots lasted me for very many years and I wore them a lot. I did a lot of research looking for a new pair mainly for rain and hiking in mud and muck. These are perfect! Great quality. They’re not really light but not super heavy either. My knees can’t handle heavy boots. I wore them out for the first time and was happy that the traction is way better than my last ones when walking through mud. These are a little pricey, but worth it when I know they’ll last many years. If you go with the cheap rain boots, you’ll be paying far more when you keep having to replace them.

Great quality, but not breathable.
Love bogs. Last forever. But aren’t breathable so expect soggy feet if you are planning to wear them for extensively.

Waterproof, comfy boot, even the neoprene tops shed water if I skip quickly through puddles.
