IF you have a narrow foot, these are AMAZING! Also MUCH cuter on than in pics :)

#1 - Go up a 1/2 size for the Ascent! I've been riding (dressage) in 2 different lace up (size 6 & 6.5) leather Ariat paddock boots for 3 years, 5 days a week and love them. When it was time to replace them, I saw the Ascent. With almost ALL the low ratings being from people who couldn't get them because too narrow, I knew it could work & gave these a try & ordered a size 7. All I can say is WOW! Easy to get on, not too loose around foot and ankle, great flexibility through ankle, SUPER comfy to walk in. The bonus? They are so much cuter on than in the pictures. I got the black and red. Now ordering the chaps & probably another pair so I can alternate & make sure they air out between riding days. SO.... SIZE UP & definitely try if you have a narrow and/or low volume foot.

Good boot but would be beneficial with a rear zipper!

Great boot for price and comfortable however all though they fit true to size foot length wise they fit narrow in the width and are hard to get on an off. Would definitely benefit from a rear zipper to assist putting them on and off! I have only been wearing them a little less than a week but wear them all day and hasn’t gotten any easier after what feels like breaking them in. Will update if they relax and get any better in the on/off department.

Very difficult to get on . And even ordered a size larger .

The sick portion is so tight to get on . And the boots are too long .

Super comfortable but lack breathability

These boots are fantastic for their comfort and the snug fit. The only downside is they are not very breathable and get very hot when the sun catches them.

Cheap and flimsy

Waaayyy over priced. I was so excited about these shoes/boots. I suffer from foot issues and was hopeful. The day they came I was so excited!! I opened the box with great anticipation, picked one up, held it in my hands and promptly put it back in the box and sent it back! Seriously, use that money on REAL quality riding boots - these are NOT it.

Fit great but because of the fabric they start to smell.

I tried washing these in vinegar but they smell will not come out. I haven’t had this problem with an all leather paddock boot. I will be going back to the regular Ariat Scout paddock boot sooner than later. I can’t stand the smell, I keep them outside now.

Very small sizes

Love the look and style but order a size up. I'm a 4 41/2 so ordered a 5 as suggested but couldn't even get my foot half way in! Didnt reorder as size not available.
