Decent, not Great

I've worn packers for 30 years because, well, we have a ranch where we pack on horses a lot and I like the design and functionality of a packer type boot. I bought these for a project where there is a high likelihood my boots will get ruined, and I didn't want to destroy my Olathe packers (my favorite.) I've only worn these around the house, but here's my perception so far. First, the shaft is only 9" tall. I prefer a 13" (or taller) shaft to protect the lower part of my legs not covered by chaps when riding through brush. Second, there isn't a spur ledge on the heel, something I really appreciate in a boot. Third, the heel isn't underslung as much as I prefer. I knew all that when I bought them, but this isn't going to be an all day every day boot so it's all fine. The oil resistant sole with only a little "tread" will be great for what I need. As for fit, I sometimes wear a 9 1/2 and sometimes a 10. My packers are 9 1/2 but some of my dress boots are 10. After reading some reviews, I bought the 10 regular width. It was slightly too narrow and a little long, so I returned them for the 9 1/2 wide. The boots fit, but the right boot was defective. On the insole, between my heel and arch, there was a "ridge" or bump, making the boot really uncomfortable to stand and walk in. I sent them back and now have this pair. Unfortunately, they also have the same ridge (in both boots) but it isn't nearly as pronounced, which makes me think it has to do with the way the boot is made. I'm going to buy an insert to pad the insole and I think that will solve the problem. If I'd paid $300 for the boots, I'd never accept it like this, but for $67, they will work. All things considered, these will work fine for me. I actually think they're a pretty good value for the money.

I like adtec boots, they wear well and last but I don’t like the laces that come with them

Just received my second pair.

I ordered a pair last year. I am very satisfied with the feel and durability (weekend warrior and fashion, not everyday work). I wanted an additional color and my second pair just recently arrived. They look and feel great. The boots are “snug” but not uncomfortably so. I usually wear size 11 in western boots and athletic shoes. That is what I ordered in these. If you like a looser feel you may want o go up a half-size. For price paid, as good a boot as I own.

Well made packer

I can't find a women's size 10 1/2 so men's 91/2 fits great. Will take some breaking in time but worth it. Nice color as well.

Fell apart within weeks!

Stitching started coming apart after just a few weeks of wear. TERRIBLE CONSTRUCTION. For $100 I assumed I’d get at least 6 months of use out of them.

Nice leather boot with unusual packet style

Bought for winter. Comfortable enough. I think they are stylish with jeans but it’s personal taste. Waterproof. Bit of a fuss putting on as long laces and hooks etc. Soles should be thicker but overall not bad.
