Exact replacement, but...
Careful when you go to install the boot over the new terminal. There is a "membrane" inside the boot left over from manufacturing that completely prevents the terminal from easily slipping into it. I almost ruined the new terminal trying to squeeze it in before I realized the extra rubber inside. Poke it out with some needlenose pliers and make sure to get all of it. Otherwise, this is exactly what my Briggs and Stratton mower engine needed. The previous spark olug terminal lasted 15 years.

Terminal isn't brass, but still solderable.
The normal way of terminating these connections is to strip off about 0.5" of insulation on the ignition wire and old it over, then crimp the terminal over the wire/insulation. It's quick and dirty and results in an unreliable termination that will fail in time. I wanted to actually solder the wire onto the terminal and the product photos strongly suggested these were made of brass. I was mightily disappointed when I got them and they weren't, in fact, brass, but they were still solderable so I give them 4 stars. Also, I used this on a Honda GX series engine even though this boot doesn't look anything like the stock one, nor does it include the 4.5k resistor. I wanted a hotter spark, though, and this was the cheapest way of getting it. Engine runs better than ever now, too.

Quality Aftermarket Part for Small Engines
Quality replacement boot and terminal for small engines. Be forewarned that what you receive is not 100% accurate to the photo. The terminal I received was not copper-plated as pictured but was instead silver in color, most likely a zinc coating. It does have the solid retainer ring as opposed to being stamped metal as another reviewer had received. It's a more than adequate part given the price and should provide years of solid purpose for my application (garage-kept generator). Installation is not difficult provided you have a pair of crimping pliers with a spark plug terminal die (usually marked 7-8mm or auto on the tool). Not a terrible idea to use some soap or silicone grease as lubricant when slipping the boot over the terminal and a good idea to put some dielectric grease on your connection from the terminal to the spark plug for added insurance. Hope this helps.

Easy fix but a very important one.
The product arrived as expected. The metal spark plug end allows the spark plug end to snap firmly into place. The boot covers the connection nicely and then some. Very simple repair and now my Toro Pony is back on the job again!

Went on easy enough after finding the right crimper. Yes you can do it with a pair of pliers but I’m a tool junkie. It’s on a 20 year old lawn mower so it should outlast it.

Can't believe this is what it was.
I bought this as a replacement for my 30 year old little wonder edger. I had tried to get it running good again after it was taking about 10 pulls to start. I regapped the magneto. I cleaned the carb. I replaced the diaphram. I replaced the spark plug. I cleaned the uptake tube. I put fresh non-ethanol gas. I wire brushed and cleaned the old connector. I tried everything and it just wouldn't start easier. I ordered this new connector thinking it might just be worth a shot. My edger starts first pull every time again just like it was new. Awesome sauce!

It fixed my lawnmower!
I'm never really sure why petrol lawnmowers have the spark protruding from the front, just where you can whack it against bushes and the bottom of fences. Maybe it's just my "robust" mowing style. Anyway, the original connection got damaged and this was a perfect replacement for the bust component. Took me about two minutes to fit and all has been fine since.
