Better than Stihl

I bought this for my Stihl FS130 trimmer. We have a lot of rocks here and this part doesn't last long where I live. I ordered a cheaper on first, but it was broken when arrived and was poor quality Chinese junk. This one, however, is an actual Oregon brand part. On top of that, it is slightly thicker and more heavy duty. It fit my original Stihl trimmer head perfectly. It is in fact better than the original Stihl part.

Not the same as STIHL - it is too small. The tolerances are off. I tries it on a FS120 and FS90 and did not fit. Do not buy this - save your time buy only the stihl part. I wish I had sent it back before I started shaving away material. Initially I shaved material off around the center, so the spool would fit. That only fixed a small problem, so I shaved material off from around the outer edge in an attempt to get the trimmer heat to seat correctly. I spent 2 hours shaving material off so it would fit on my trimmer. It still doesn't fit correctly - It fits good enough to use until I can get to the stihl store to buy the correct part. I wasted $9 on this item. I made the decision to purchase on reviews, but those reviews could not be for the part that I received. Of all the Amazon purchases over the last 4 years this is one of the 4 that I wish I had never made. With this head cover installed the string will not advance no matter how hard you tap.

Better than Original !!!!!!!!!!

Better than original. My local Stihl dealer would not sell me this part. They wanted to sell me a whole new trimmer head. WTF! Plastic seems to thicker & more durable than the Stihl Original part. Came in packaging as Oregon Brand. Oregon is a long standing Chainsaw & Power Equipment aftermarket part supplier. Thanks Amazon!

Won't fit

Bought 2 of then to see if I liked. Won't fit my fs90, fs94 or fs131 stihl trimmers. The hole isn't big enough and its to small to snap on to original head. Stihl dealer has them for same price. Just bought a hand full today.
