Falling apart after just a few uses
The sponge is fine. I mean, it's a sponge. It soaks up the water in my kayak and lets me squeeze it out. No problem there. Unfortunately, the sponge began to split after only a few uses, fewer than five I believe. Now, after roughly ten uses it has a big split in it, and is threatening to split completely in two. It may last a while yet if I'm careful with it, but you shouldn't have to baby a marine sponge, right? Plus, I'm not some big brute of a dude who is squeezing the life out of it. Disappointed.

A Big Sponge for Big Jobs
I have arthritis and cleaning my tub was painful. This huge sponge made the job much easier. Highly recommended.

Simple & Effective
We always toss on in each of our kayaks when we hit the water. Fortunately, I have never had to use it for bailing, but comes in handy when cleaning out some of the water that gets into our boats from paddling or getting in or out. It is worth mentioning that it took two 100+ degree days to get them to "dry out" completely, as they always have a minor wet/damp feel to them even when brand new and unused. I highly recommend!

Excellent product.
I use this sponge for general cleaning. The large size makes it perfect for guys. I even attached it to a pole and use it to clean the siding on my house.

They fall apart and are way too expensive
I got one of these to use in my dinghy to remove water. On the positive side they are very effective at soaking up water, in fact I'd say that they're excellent at this. BUT, after only a few weeks of occasional use it started to come apart and after another couple of weeks it was literally shedding sizeable pieces with any use and I had to throw it away. I suppose that if you're Ok with a sponge that has such a short useable lifespan then maybe it would be worth having, however they are crazy expensive and that makes them a terrible purchase.

Great for kayaking
I bought this for a kayak camping trip, all (4) of us tipped at one point or another and this sponge really helped to get that last bit of water out. Not sure how long it will hold up or how many uses I will get.

Too thick but a great sponge
Would have preferred that it not be so thick. I cut it in half so it is about half the thickness. Other than that, it was the right size and a great sponge.

Not that strong
Nice size, good absorption but not very strong and hard to keep clean. Used only to wipe (professional) kitchen table. Make the mistake of pocking a nail in it and any tears will very fast rip the sponge open and plenty blue bits will fall off. Quite annoying. Good thing I got two. Now being very gentle with the second one.

Good cellulose
Pretty big. Exactly what you'd expect from cellulose sponges, it becomes hard when dry but soft when wet. Holds a lot of water but is a little hard to squeeze when brand new (gotta wear it in).

Great sponge!
Very absorbent! It stays in my kayak for sucking up rain water, wiping off dirt marks and whatever critters climbed in while stored on the river bank. Buying this sponge saved me money that would have been spent on a bilge pump. No regrets!

within 2 days the sponge developed tears. way overpriced but hard to find sponges this big.
