Terrible Finishing - Can They be Exchanged?

I bought these chairs to match a Stackmore folding table. The table is fine. Arrived in good condition. Set up in less than 2 minutes. The "matching" chairs, however, are another story. -A hole in the wood was patched with filler that was never sanded down. I had to rub down the glob of hardened filler myself. -The filler for this and other cracks did not match the color of the chair. -Stain was globbed on, and never wiped down, so many thick, dark areas of stain (not natural variation) are between the slats of the back. -The slats aren't adequately sanded, with some areas so rough that they would snag clothing;. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I need to find a way to return them. I need to order another set, as I need chairs matching the table (oak finish) and this color is not available at local stores. My concern: Will I get something even worse? SO ... by the standards that are asked for, this is 5 star - sturdy, comfortable, and no assembly needed. BUT the sleazy finish, with globs of filler, discoloration, and thick dark stain residue, not to mention unsanded areas on slats, make it a 2 star overall rating. Would be 1, except for the fact that it is sturdy and comfortable.

Enjoy the low profile at the table!

Threw out my old high back chairs and enjoying the low profile of these chairs at the table. They seem sturdy and fold up if I require more space! Probably will buy a couple more when I can have more guests at a meal!

Strong and study

Bought these to match the kitchen table at our new lake place. Love that they fold up for easy storage and are so sturdy and strong. Very nice fabric. Very satisfied

Very nice chairs

I love the chairs but they were very difficult to unfold. Even with the instructions.

Very sturdy and well made chairs

We are very pleased with the quality of these chairs. They are very solid and sturdy and the padded seats make the chairs comfortable. The folding mechanisms on the chairs work very well. Overall, the chairs are very well made and we are very happy with them.

Won't unfold/fold

These chairs are beautiful and sturdy. Unfortunately, they would not easily unfold/fold. Took 3 people to try including a maintenance person. So, reordered and had the exact same problem with the next set that was delivered. Disappointed because they are so nice in every other way, but the idea of a folding chair is to be able to unfold/fold them, so they'll all be going back. All the reviews had given such a high rating so maybe there is a recent quality control problem. Received both shipments February 2020.
