Faux, Absolutely NOT 100% leather

The fit is quite snug but they're slipons. They'll stretch and loosen up. I'm happy with the product but the ad is not only misleading, it is false in my opinion. I’m disappointed because I paid three times as much for the Stacy Adams flat toe loafers as shoes of the same style and quality manufactured by other companies. I purchased faux leather flat toe loafers 9 years ago. They look almost identical to the Stacy Adams flat toe loafers, they’re still available and they’re priced like faux leather should be priced, cheap! The only reason I went with Stacy Adams to replace my old pair of flat toe loafers was because the ad here on Amazon said the Stacy Adams loafers were "100% leather." The Stacy Adams shoes look nice but I could tell they were certainly not real leather at a glance. Im happy wearing faux leather shoes if I pay $30-50 for them but these Stacey Adams flat toe loafers cost me $95! That would be a great price for real 100% leather shoes but these Stacy Adams' have a fake leather upper and flexible plastic sole just like the cheapos I could have purchased a second time. The cheapos would have kept me happy for a couple years again until I decided to replace them for another brand new pair at $40 and those would last me another two years. I'd still be ahead 10-15 bucks over buying one pair of Stacey Adams loafers! The Stacey Adams loafers have a thin layer of calf skin sewn in as a lining but the whole outside of the shoe is 100% fake leather. We'll see how they hold up. The outer finish on the cheapos I bought years back started to peel off after a couple years. If the Stacys are a little more durable… ah heck, I'd still rather pay 60% less and replace an old pair of shoes with brand new ones! You can't beat brand new shoes. Even if they're inexpensive, they still look way better than a worn pair of expensive shoes. Bruno, Steve. <<< hint hint, that's what you should buy for less than half the price and you can find free shipping on those too. Rant over. I'm keeping the Stacy Adams' just to see how they hold up but as mentioned, new/cheap is always better than expensive/worn. I kind of feel like I got lied to and ripped off. Live and learn. Hope this helps someone save some money.

Nice shoe but sizing is way off

I've owned 4 different pairs of Stacy Adams shoes over the last ~5 years and really like them. This pair, however, fits so much differently than every other pair I've had in the same size. Almost falls off my feet! Definitely should have bought a half or whole size smaller.

Great, beautiful, well made shoes!

I am a dancer and need the shoes for looks. I love them. It is hard to find white color shoes with this quality. I made a first order taking the 8 1/2 but they were too small for me. I sent them back and the seller refund me quick. I order 9 1/2 size with the fear of have to add an insole, but they fit perfect! I just purchased couple more pairs because I use them for dancing and performing. Thank you!

Love these shoes

These are my second pair. The first time I purchased locally for $75 and they lasted me for 5 years, so had to get them back as I love the design and how comfortable they are. I went back to the same store where I had purchased the first pair but I could not find them, tried other locations but to no success. Also I opted for the free shipping, it was supposed to arrive on 4th of June however the package arrived early on 31st May. While here, I also figured there are two more colours, so my goals are to save and purchase them as well. That's all I gotta say.
