Bought for my husband while he waited for foot surgery.

This is great, very nice support for my husband while he waited for his surgery. Gets him through his 10 hour work days. They do leave little rubbed (sores) at the leg where they are just a little tight, wish they had a better hem. But the price is right abc they add support. You have to wear this under socks so if you have sensitive skin, be aware.

Order size down if on low end of sizing chart.

Maybe I should have ordered a size down but brace will work for now. I wear a 12-13 shoe depending on inside cushioning. I ordered the XL brace since that was for sizes 12 1/2 -14. When the brace is flushed to the Achilles and heel, the compression part covers up a good portion of my toes and the straps wrap around my toes as opposed to my arch. In contrast when I try to pull the brace back so the straps give more mid foot support, the back part of the brace is lose and crumpled. I’d be happier if had a size smaller but I don’t think there is an exchange policy.

It can be somewhat annoying to put on shoes over this

I wear this instead of a boot during the day while I'm doing intense race training. I broke my second and third metatarsals years back and since they don't heal, if I'm training I need to stabilize my foot during the day to minimize pain. It can be somewhat annoying to put on shoes over this, and there were more than a couple of days where trying to fit it just right was a pain. It's kind of finicky, but it works extremely well for the size of the product. I'd take this over a clunky boot any day.

Feels nice on, but can't walk around in it.

This compression brace feels nice and supportive when you have it on; however, it's not comfortable for me to walk around in due to the bottom seam where it is sewn together. It digs into the bottom of my foot. I do sleep in it at night though, and it has helped with foot pain and swelling. I like that you can slide the ankle supports out if needed, and the adjustable Velcro straps are nice. Ultimately I am happy with this purchase.

A little more thought to design.

Gives great support, but the criss cross strap is sewn straight underneath the foot so that when you cross it up over your foot it gaps on one side underneath making an uncomfortable bulge under your foot. If you pull it very tight it doesn't do that, but it cuts off circulation if you fix it that tight. I believe if it were sewn as 2 separate straps in a V under the foot that it would alleviate the issue. Might take it off and do that myself.

Too thick under the sole of foot (front)

Thermoskin Fabric is great as always. But I am disappointed with this item because of the thickness of fabric layers under the sole of the foot (too thick at the front so it hurts when I step on it): I have their previous model bought 2 or 3 years ago which is close to this one but made a bit differently and that one was really 5 stars... Too bad they couldn't continue to make it the same way... (I just saw that another customer wrote that he/she had the same problem...)

Amazing for STRESS FRACTURE pain

I have a stress fracture in my right foot from a recent influx in hiking and long walks, was using kinesiology tape on the daily to try and stay up on my feet, which was getting expensive and becoming an inconvenient drag on my time. This brace not only reinforced the areas the tape application would, but with more pressure (which for me meant less pain) but also helped me to a full recovery after wearing for about a week of moderate hikes. I feel relieved to have this brace ready to go if my stress fracture (top of foot pain) issues act up again.

The support has been very useful to use as alternative support

The support has been very useful to use as alternative support. I have a fifth metatarsal fracture that is taking time to heal but when I'm not using the boot cast this holds my foot nicely inside a good pair of lace up boots that I can open enough to slip my foot into. Sizes do come up a little small. I got a small and am shoe size 5, so it may be wise to get a size bigger.

Muy buena

La compré con miedo a que no me estuviera pero no. Recoge muy bien el pie y eso es bueno cuando el esguince no es de tobillo sino de pie en general. Me ha parecido muy buena.
