Perfect fit

breaks in cold weather
My dogs love to tear in and out the doggie door. We get REALLY COLD weather where we live. The plastic on this flap freezes and breaks off. I usually have to replace it once every winter.

Watch for fit!
Although listed frame dimensions are the same, this DOES NOT FIT all petsafe door frames… it is NOT a replacement for petsafe part number pac1111038 ! It falls just short by 1/2” or so, top attachment not compatible, bottom magnets not the same. Odd because i bought the complete frame off amazon less that 3 yrs ago, and the replacement flap is incompatible. Hope they will accept my return as i did not keep original package…

Doesn't fit as good as the original
I have an older model pet door that I basically had to completely remove to change the flap. The plastic screws that sandwich the outer and inner frame are not very easily reused as they feel like they are going to break on removal and due to being cut off on the original installation they don't like to start to thread. I ended up cutting a taper on the ends to make it easier to start. Now the flap itself seems a little bit narrower than the original as it has a small gap on the sides causing a slight draft. For the price of a replacement flap I considered replacing the whole door with a better multilayered unit for dealing with the cold up here in Canada but decided not to. But after the difficulty installing the flap and the slightly poor fitment, I wish I went for a complete replacement. Probably will the next time the flap needs replaced.

Slightly pricy but worth it
The old dog door died on us and since it was so long ago we weren't sure about which door it was after a bit of research we found this one. Works like a charm and will last out 2 dogs for years to come one again only issue was it a bit pricy but other then that great buy and MAKE SURE TO DO RESEARCH FOR THE REPLACEMENT DOOR YOU NEED

perfect fit and the right model
This flap was a replacement for the one I had in my dog door for 11 years. That one snapped in two during a cold spell. The model of door is quite old so it was difficult to find the correct version locally. The manufacturer provided me with the model number I needed and this one was exactly what I ordered.

Good product
My old flap was damaged so I needed a new one. The new flap fit perfectly into the frame I had and looks great. Make sure to measure everything before purchase to ensure it fits.
