Buy it for comfort, not looks

This slide is so comfortable I can forgive the look of it. I bought it to wear in the house, so I don't really care if it is cute. I ordered my usual Spenco size (8) and have since ordered a 7 to see if it fits better. The Spenco web site said to order up if you are sometimes a half size (in sandals, I am sometimes 7.5) so I went with the 8. It's big, maybe not too big to keep, but that will depend on how the 7 fits. The shoe is very wide, almost like Birkenstock wide. This is a unisex shoe, which might explain some things with the overall fit. But it is like clouds with support! If the 7 is too small, I will keep the 8 and just live with it being a little too big.

Good and bad issues

I like that it fits comfortably and it holds my foot in place. I had two knee replacements and am very cautious about my balance. The first few days I felt wobbly in the sandals because the support is a bit too squishy and with me being overweight, I had to concentrate to keep my balance while standing. It’s a but too long ( I wear size 9 ) and I don’t like using them on stairs to basement where the treads are short. It’s great for going in and out of the garden and slipping them on and off. Too bulky , unflattering for using as a regular going out sandals. But for in and around the house they are ok. I would not recommend them for person who has balance issues. They may fall.

Good for the price, but...

The slides are what I expected for the price. You can feel the arch support when you wear them, which is great. The only change that would make it perfect, is less cushioning. The slides are very thick and feel a bit clunky when you're walking. The top of the slide is also tight on the top of your foot as a result. I'm assuming that will stretch out over time. Overall a good slide with no major issues that would make me send them back. These will be my daily household slippers and great for the beach.

Supportive and comfortable!

Every time I put on these shoes I appreciate how comfortable they are. I’m very particular with my shoes and it takes a special shoe to impress me. I have 3 pairs of Spenco now after trying them for the first time less than a year ago.

Owning several pairs of the Spenco brand shoes, I have found them all to be very well made, very durable, supportive, size consistent and I've never had to return any. My foot length is 10' and medium width and their size 8 has always been a good fit for me - lengthwise and widthwise. I ordered my usual Spenco size (8 M) in the Fusion 2 Slide Sandal and again another perfect fit for me: no break-in period needed, supportive and no overlapping of toes. Plan to use the Fusion 2 slides as an addition to another pair of Spenco sandals I'm currently using as house shoes. I am quite happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

So comfortable

I have heel pain on my right foot. As soon as I put these shoes on, I felt so much better. They are not attractive looking at all, but I am going to put some rhinestones on them to distract from the ugliness because they are so comfortable. When you pick up the shoe, it feels firm (similar to crocs material). But it's true that when you are walking on them, they have a "squishy" gel-like feel. They support my feet in all the right places and have reduced my heel pain immensely. The size fit me perfectly and I am also able to wear them with thin socks with no issue.

Supportive, secure and soft enough.

Very good support for arch and ball of foot . I wished for just little more thickness at heal. But overall after trying two other big brands this one is secure, supportive and soft enough for all day walking around the house doing chores all chasing kids.

Cheap looking

Returned....didnt like. I have other Spenco sandals that are much nicer.
