Well... It fits?

Woman with large head reporting. It fits. It's still quite tight for what I presume to be an XL men's swim cap, and it sure doesn't look cute, but it feels like it will get the job done.

Snug Cap

These silicone swim caps are the only ones I use. The only down size is that they wear out/stretch out after a short time. I swim laps for 1 hr, 3 times a week and they last for 6 to 9 months.

I LOVE this kind of swim cap! MORE OPTIONS PLEASE!!

This kind of swim cap has a bunch of different names which makes them really hard to find - warm caps, PU-coated caps, lined caps - it all depends on the brand which makes it frustrating to locate. I love that they are really easy to put on (I am from India so I have thick, wiry and sometimes long, hair). The silicone caps seem to stick to my head and the lycra caps do not really protect my hair from the chlorine. I notice that if I use a plain lycra cap, my hair gets damaged more quickly, especially as I get older (57+) and feel the need to dye my hair. My trick is to rub a thin layer of coconut oil through my hair (it neutralizes chlorine and resists salt) and then rinse my hair in the shower before I get in the water. Then each hair shaft is saturated with plain water before the chlorine or salt water hits it. I put on my swim cap on top. I do use my goggles to hold the cap in place because as they lose their elasticity (after 3 or 4 months of daily swimming), the cap can slide off a bit. Even better, if the water is cold, it keeps your head warm, so you don't get that brain freeze headache when you jump in. Nike used to do a great one with a lot more colors and patterns but I can't find them any more.

Visible non-cramping swim hat.

I swim a lot in both the Pacific Ocean and local pools. In pools you can wear anything that is comfortable; this hat is comfortable. Every hat breaks down in the a chlorine pool. In the ocean or lakes you need visibility from boats and jet skies; that is why I like the silver strip on the hat.

Perfect fit but the ugliest color choices

I have long thick hair and a large head. This is the ONLY cap that doesn’t slide off my head. With other styles, I have to stop after every single lap to pull it down over my forehead and squeeze excess water at the back of my head where I wear a huge bun. With this fabric cap, I can have sunscreen on my face and hair protectant serum under my cap and it still won’t slide off my head. It stays perfectly so that I can focus on swimming. My only complaint is that the color options are so incredibly ugly. My black one was my lifetime favorite. I wish they’d make it again.

Happy with purchase!

Wanted to leave a review >6 months after my purchase. The cap slips on easily and fits very comfortably. After a swim, I will wring out the excess water and leave it out. It dries quickly. I have had no issues with it so far and I'm tempted to buy a second one just like it, just to have a backup. Solid product, and thank you for a pleasant transaction!

Overall

Bought hoping to not have to wear ear plugs, being first cap I have worn, seems correct size, but still need to wear plugs. Does keep most of chlorine off hair though based on how my hair feels after swimming.

Big head, shorter hair - fits great, but doesn't cover ears.

This was my first swim cap, and my main concern was getting one big enough for my head (especially without trying it on). I'm a guy who often has trouble fitting my head into one-size-fits-all hats, but this swim cap has been a good fit. The first time I swam laps, I tried to pull down over my ears, but it was just too short to keep the water out. I found that as water crept into my ears, the cap seemed to hold the water in (worse than with no cap). But what works great for me is to have the cap down about halfway over my ears. I'm a recreational swimmer and got the cap to keep the chlorine out of my hair. I usually swim laps for about 1/2 an hour, and don't have issues with the cap slipping at all. No discomfort either. I plan to purchase this one again in the future if mine ever wears out. By the way, because of the material, this cap seems to hold on to moisture for a while, so I always hang to dry after each swim.

It fits!

It is comfortable and fits really well on my big head. I no longer have water in my ears or chlorine caused tangled hair.

So comfortable. Not even a little bit waterproof.

I love this swim cap. It looks nice and doesn't give my head a weird shape like a lot of the other swim caps at my pool. The fit is comfortable but my hair gets completely wet. I got the large one. Maybe I should have gotten the small. And by the way.. the people who say these are not big enough clearly don't know how to put on a swim cap. Watch a video. They are definitely big enough. If you have a big head, get the large. If not, get the small and watch a video on how to put on a swim cap.

Fits right

No complaints have a larger sized head, adult male. Fits doesn't tug hair. Would highly recommend.
