Great pullkick, does both well
I have used this product both as a pull buoy and as a kickboard. I am happy with it in both contexts. I deducted one star for comfort because making printed text indented would be an improvement when using as a pull buoy. I haven't experienced skin irritation from embossed text, but could see it as a possibility.

Loads of fun
Well staying down at the beach I realized that we ran into some big surf and I had this in the back of my vehicle and thought well let's try this I know it wasn't made for that but it made myself and my friend have a lot of fun so and it didn't damage it it helped us catch more waves when we were body surfing so the manufacturer probably doesn't want me to recommend that you use it in the ocean in large surf in Southern California but it was awesome It's been good in the pool and you know that that's the least exciting part yes it's been good in the pool does what it's supposed to do cake cake yes fantastic but we had the absolute most fun for three four days while we were at the beach in high surf with this thing so thanks highly recommend for multi-purposes!

Works great!
I was looking something that would fit my gym bag and it would work for what i needed it. This product is perfect. Has a double purpose and works great for both. I did not like to use the ones at the gym. Great quality.

Second time purchasing
Great as a bouy and paddle board for someone with small hands. I use this constantly. I lost my first one. I missed the first one so much, I bought another. Also, the size makes it so convenient.

My doctors recommended I bike and or swim
I haven’t been in a pool on a consistent basis in over 25 years. Issues with my knees and plantar faciitis have kept me from running. My doctors recommended I bike and or swim. I chose swimming. I started “swimming” again 7 weeks ago. My first day I swam four laps down a 22m pool. I was dying. I kept at it and reasearched different techniques to improve. I found a video of this product. When it arrived, I had gotten my lap count up to 16. I’ve been using this for two weeks. I’ve doubled the amount of laps i swim. On my third day using it I was able to get 32 laps in. This is not for fooling around. This thing is serious. It will make you work. I am more than happy with it. My breathing has improved, and my overall freestyle technique is better. My stroke is more controlled now, and I feel like my lap count will continue to improve. I swim up one lap using it as a kickboard and work on my breathing while squeezing in one arm strokes, and swim down with it in between my thighs as a buoy. Fantastic.

Nice to use as a kickboard, not so good as a pull buoy
With it's size, it's pretty good when used as a kickboard. Big enough to place both hands on it and provides great support for them. When used as a pull buoy however it's not so good. If you use to train your gliding, it tends to roll you over. Classic asymmetric buoy would be better in this case. During active movements it works fine, the issue with rolling over only happens on gliding for me. With that, as combo device, it's quite good for the price.

Great equipment for exercise at lake
At first I was disappointed because of the size, and the shape I thought might not be useful for me. I quickly found out the board is a wonderful addition to my exercise equipment. I spread my feet apart on the lake bottom and pass the board from one hand to the other or keep it in one hand. I can push it down into the water, or forward, or across my chest, or sideways, or curl upward, or pull back or to the side. These are all good cardio-force arm work. The board stays on the hand and passes smoothly and is fun. I can also skim it across the top of the water for faster movement but that is less useful. So I am giving this five stars as a great piece of exercise equipment.

Fits in your bag pack and great at the gym!
I purchased this item for its portability and also its multiple usage. I will say that it does not have the buoyancy of a full size board, it works very well. I use it at the gym at least 2-3 times a week and it never fails! I use it as a kick board and works well, but does require some effort from your core muscles to keep your head completely out of the water...so kind of an ab workout. As a pull buoy if works well but not as well as your standard or traditional ones. It is very comfortable to use. For swimming on your back and supporting the neck, it is nice! Just the right fit and comfort. It can be used for many drills! I get plenty of looks and questions about it, which I'm happy to answer. I love that it's made by speedo a very good and established brand. For me it's just right. I'm very happy for my purchase.

Perfect for competitive swimming and training
This 2 in 1 board is perfect for competitive swimming and swim training. It is lightweight and provides enough flotation for experienced swimmers to have a successful training session. As a pull buoy, it works very well and stays in place. The only downside is the words are raised all over the back of the board so it can irritate your skin if using it for a long period of time for pulling.

Great, as expected
This small pull-kick board is exactly what I wanted. It doubles up as a pull buoy and kickboard. It is about half the size of a regular kickboard which means that it fits nicely in my small gym bag. But it does a great job at keeping your arms up when doing kick work in the pool. Would recommend it for serious swimmers, not for kids who need a floatation device.
