Great faucet!!

Overpriced, Only A 30 Day Warranty

When it comes to plumbing fixture quality, I would rate this product somewhere in the middle when it comes to materials and workmanship. The main fixture seems to be made of brass and stainless steel with the hose obviously being some type of synthetic, flexible hose. The weight is substantial, but nowhere near what you would expect for a product of it's size and cost. It definitely does not hold up to the same quality of brand names like Kohler, Delta or even Pfister, which is a bit disturbing considering it's premium price tag. There is brief, two page installation manual, but no further documentation and absolutely no company information such as an address, phone number, where to get spare parts, etc. There is also apparently no warranty included, other than the Amazon 30 day guarantee. This is extremely rare for a piece of plumbing that sells in this price range. The fact that it is stamped Made in China does not exactly boost my confidence, either. Despite the lack of a detailed installation manual, installation went fairly smoothly. It wasn't the smoothest installation I have ever done, but it was not as bad as it could have been with so little in the way of instructions. The amount of water flow is less than I would like it to be, especially for a product in this price range. For this price it would also be nice if the product included a deck plate. I am not even sure if a deck plate for this product is available, since no parts or contact information comes in the box. So far so good insofar as leaks or other apparent defects. You are pretty much SOL in this regards unless you return the product within 30 days it seems though. I really wish that this company did a better job in the way of documentation, warranty and support. If that were the case I might give them better than a 3 star review.

I think its a good value for a decorator faucet.

The main body of the faucet is definitely robust as it should be. The hose and spray head appear to be much lighter and ergonomically you do not want a lot of weight in your hands so that appears to be a good design consideration. Overall I am satisfied but I have never used Speakman before so I cant rate it higher in relation to durability and life span. All in all I'd call this a good purchase.

Really Excited

I was skeptical about this product because I am definitely not a plumber and was worried about installing it. It was pretty easy when following the instructions. I am in love now that it is installed and definitely recommend it!!

An okay facet

I recently got a Speakman rain shower head and it is great, so I figured this would be a good facet for the downstairs kitchen sink. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I had it up and running in about thirty minutes. I have a marble counter top so I didn't need to install a faceplate. The first thing that struck me once I opened the package was that this didn't feel as well made as a similarly priced Moen or Pfister. The handle doesn't always snap back into place and on a few occasions it simply fell to the side. The spray head is good and offers a couple of different modes, and the flow is decent, but not spectacular. Overall this is a decent fawcet, but I feel it's a little on the cheap side.

Very impressive kitchen faucet

This faucet is very well made. The plumber who will install it looked it over and was favorably impressed. He will not be able to install it until late January but said it will be no problem as it is replacing a faucet with almost identical fittings, that is very similar and which has performed well for 9 years. I will edit my review after the faucet has been installed and I have had a chance to use it.

Nice kitchen faucet

I had this installed and love the way it looks. It was easy to install and looks way better then the old kitchen faucet. The quality of this is really nice also. I had bought a simular cheaper one before and it started leaking after 6 months. I don't think I'm going to have that problem with this one.

Average Grade Hardware

The media could not be loaded. It’s a nice-looking kitchen faucet. It’s smaller than my old one, which was similar, but the previous sprayer hose was thicker and longer. The faucet was also larger in size, which I found very convenient. Overall, I was disappointed that this replacement didn’t have the same dimensions. The faucet has a three-function spray wand: Aerated Stream for everyday tasks, Spray Pattern for wide rinsing, and Boost Spray for increased flow rates. Somehow I only have two modes working. I didn’t install this faucet myself so I’ll need to follow up with the handyman who installed it. The two modes that are working are functioning as expected, but they don’t produce as much water flow as my older faucet did, which is both good and bad. The good thing about it is that it conserves water with a smaller water flow and it won’t splash as much. The not so good thing is it’s not as powerful, so it will take longer to fill up containers or clean dishes in the sink. I also wish a more comprehensive description was posted on the product page. For example, the faucet instruction manual includes that it doesn’t meet California Proposition 65 specifications. This would have been nice to know before purchase. So far it is a no drop, reliable faucet. Neither overly impressed or disappointed.
