Little stretch - holds shape, and really grinds/cleans.
Absolutely love this. I have a 2” stubby extension which makes this stick out a little more for that “reach”. I use this to clean my grill specifically and it works wonderfully. Doesn’t spread/stretch as much as the cheaper material which is a plus! That means it’s QUALITY! Really does a great job with the grill. Makes a mess but that’s part of the process. I also have the 6” disk on a 7” metabo grinder and damn - you best hold on!

Held up well
My angle grinder is my most useful tool. I use this cup brush for all sorts of stuff I used to use a wire brush for: removing rust from metal polishing, etc. Some of the bristles flew out during my first use, but after that it remained intact and I got a lot of service out of it. I bought a red one that looked the same at Harbor Freight to replace it, which was a mistake. The bristles on the HF one spun out quickly and were bent 90 degrees outward after 1 use. Spend the extra money and buy this DeWalt brush!

Used to clean plaster residue off brick walls
After slaving for days with a plastic scrub brush and water, I bought this to remove the remaining plaster residue and "chunks" left clinging to a really old brick wall after plaster removal. It made short work of the project and didn't hurt or compromise the mortar in the joints themselves. I'll still use the scrub brush and water to clean up the bricks up shiny, but this tool saved me weeks of work doing it the hard way. Note: although this wire brush did not phase the mortar in the brick wall, I'm pretty sure we have the newer type mortar mix versus the old lime-and-sand type, which probably would NOT stand up to the 9000 rpms of this tool, being a softer mortar than masonry cement. Like the previous reviewer mentions, you need to get your face covered, eyes protected and if you are using it in any type of dusty conditions, a NIOSH approved filtration mask. *sigh* Off topic: Looks like Amazon still thinks Knoxville is in Tunisia...

Only 9000 RPM
This item is slightly bigger than the brush I wore out and am replacing. Be advised of the 9000 RPM limit that I faied to notice. Unfortunately I used the brush before noticing the limitation. My grinder is 12,000 RPM and so was my previous brush. I now have this brush, but no tool to use it on.
