Most Dependable
I work outside and have used many different boot brushes. At some sites, we have to arrive and/or leave with sanitized boots which means first cleaning off all the dirt before rinsing and spraying with alcohol. This design with the boot scraper on the inside and the curved brushes on the outside gets more dirt and mud off than any other boot brush I have used and is easy to switch from scraper to brushes with just a flip of your boot. The way the brushes are raised up makes it easier to clean the brush, just spray it off and dirt washes away. I mount the brush to a square piece of plywood, then you can step anywhere on the plywood with the one boot to hold everything steady while you vigorously scrape away with the other boot. The bristles also last longer than any other type of brush I have used and you can buy replacements. Only problem is that the frame occasionally breaks when a brute bangs away at it but this brush works well for most outdoorsy folks.

A Very Solid Boot Brush
We had a dirt problem in our house and I had no idea how to solve it. My husband generously walks our dogs twice a day and on the weekends we all go to the dog park. Going in and out of the house his Merrels and boots pick up so much dirt and debris (not to mention our two Aussies) I was vacuuming twice a day. My husband finally suggested we order a boot brush for the front door. There are a lot of boot brushes to pick from which is something I did not anticipate. This specific brush is recommended for commercial use and is FDA compliant - sold. The first two days this thing was at our door the amount of stuff coming in the house went down dramatically. The brush is genius. We don't have it attached to anything, it just sits outside by the step and my husband stands on the metal on one side and brushes the bottom of his shoe on the other side. It is really an easy process. One per week I sweep off the ground underneath the brush because holy moly does stuff collect under it. I like this brush because there are replacement parts easily available if we need them in the future, it is sturdy and easy to use. It's not the most attractive looking brush in the world, but sometimes function needs to exist over form.

Works great for me!!
I purchased one of these 2 years ago. Mounted it to a piece of bluestone by the porch with Tap Cons and it never moved until someone ran over it with a tractor which took it out. I did not hesitate to immediately buy another one which is an exact duplicate of my original one. Wish that everything I bought was this heavy duty

Best boot brush I have ever used
This is by far the best boot brush out there. The design hasn't changed from the first one I bought eight years ago. Many have come and end up in the trash. Mine gets used multiple times daily due to my farm.

Boot Scrape Boogie
I was using a shop broom to clean my outdoor boots, while holding [a beer] valuable yard tools and controlling my [3] dogs. Then it occurred to me, "I need a boot-scraper!". After perusing the various burlap and scanty plastic offerings, I decided to go with a professional quality device, because my wife REALLY hates it when I track dirt in the house. I don't give five stars unless a product exceeds my expectations, and this one did. The only complaint was, it slides around a lot unless you step on the frame with your free foot (see sentence 1). So I found an old piece of 18 x 24 - 3/4" plywood and painted it camo with several coats of poly-acrylic just for fun. (Chicago weather does not have mercy on materials that rot or fall apart with rough use.) In this case, I mounted it with 3/4" #8 wood screws to keep from overshooting the plywood. I have some 3/16 x 1" coarse machine bolts with washers standing by if those pull out. (Your requirements may vary.) Bottom line, this thing works great on mud, dog crap, or sawdust residue in deep-crevice boots. It's worth the extra money if you want to avoid the evil eye from your significant other.

POOR CONSTRUCTION---HORRIBLE PACKAGING
THE CFS SPECTRA PLASTIC BOOT ’N SHOE BRUSH ARRIVED BROKEN IN 5 DIFFERENT PLACES! You can plainly see the boot cleaner is wider than the shipping box since the box never closed all the way before it was taped. The boot cleaner was supposed to be in “Used-Very Good” condition. Also “Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.” There was NO original packaging or any kind of packaging/padding at all. One end of the boot cleaner is broken in half. The other end is bent and barely fits into the box in the bent condition. The “steel scraper” in the middle is bent and one of the 2 brushes broke off the base and has a chunk missing from one corner. The Chrome Steel tube frame is flimsy and would never hold up to everyday use. Please see the 4 pictures attached. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK AND A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Wish we had bought this long ago because it is the best boot scraper and worth every penny spent. My husband works outside and was always tracking in dirt. This cleans not only the bottom of his boots but it also cleans the sides. It's amazing

Best boot cleaner out there
I purchased a less expensive boot cleaner before I got this one and this one is the best I've found for cleaning off boots of all sizes. It's incredibly sturdy and effective. Perfect rating except for I think it's a little pricey.
