Wonderful little pump
This is a wonderful little pump being sold at a very reasonable price. I am a very satisfied customer.

Perfect for my fountain
A medium-sized fountain in a recently purchased house wasn't working and needed cleaning so I disassembled it to find the pump had burned out. I am guessing that it had been run with too little water in the fountain. After doing a little searching locally I found this pump on Amazon, an exact match for the one that failed, and at a good price. It arrived on time; was packaged well; and had good installation/illustration information. It is very light and comes with a couple of adapters for 1/4" and 1/2" tubing. It also has a flow-control to adjust the amount of water coming out the top of the fountain. It does have 4 suction-cup feet that seem to be of limited value. Installation is fairly straightforward but the level of difficulty will depend on your particular situation. The parts to my fountain are fairly heavy so it would have been helpful to have an extra set of hands. Removing the rubber plug that seals around the cord on the bottom tier of the fountain took a little work. I used some silicon spray and a small screwdriver to work the silicon around the plug before it would budge. One thing to note on the placement of the pump. The water outlet is not in the center of the pump and the electrical cord comes straight out the back. If your electrical cord comes up the center of the bottom tier of the fountain, it can make it a little tight to position the pump directly under 1/2" water tubing running up the exact center of the fountain. It took a little bit of wiggling and adjustment of the cord length inside the pump area, but it worked out. This could be an issue if you have tight working space. After installation, the pump works great!

Short, short life
This pump only lasted 6 to 7 weeks before it started tripping GFCI breaker. I have purchased this model a few times over the years for an urn fountain near front entrance to home. The pump normally lasts 5 to 7 years before I change them out.

Perfect for a 33" tall fountain
I bought this to replace a failed pump for a garden fountain. Pressure and volume is just right for a 33" lift to the top bowl of the fountain--water bubbles gently at the top bowl and plenty of volume to cascade to the lower bowls. Recently the pump stopped. I pulled the pump, and could hear a buzzing of the motor put the impeller was not moving. So I fiddled with it, realized that part of casing slides off to expose the impeller, took a small nail and manually rotated the impeller. A small seed fell out...back in business.

Small but mighty pump
I purchased this small but mighty pump to turn an antique, concrete water faucet into a unique fountain for my garden. It is small enough to be unnoticed in the concrete water basin yet still pump water up the 3-4 foot concrete "pipe" (we inserted the clear plastic tubing attached to the pump up the pipe). Water is now peacefully dripping into the basin and making my "fountain" possible.

I would buy it again
I've been using this pump for over a year to power my "Do It Yourself" fish tank filter. It's still going as strong as when I first got it. Maintenance involves 2 minutes to take it apart and spray out the gunky buildup from the tubing area with a garden hose about once a month. Disclosure: I only require 1 foot of vertical lift from this pump. At 1 foot above water level, the flow rate is equivalent to a conventional hang on the back fish tank filter.

Great little pump
This is the second one I purchased. The first one was very reliable and gives great flow for my fountain.

Excellent little pump from Beckett
As usual Beckett pumps are the best value and quality. We purchased the DP140 for a small in ground water feature. The lift needed was only 1 ft. This pump has excellent lift pressure. We installed it with the valve and only need it 1/2 way open to achieve the effect we wanted. Come with ample power wire, and sufficient connectors. I would recommend using the provided connectors for easy pump removal in the winter.
