Awesome shorts!!!
First of all the color is beautiful, I was afraid they would look more dull and not like the picture at all but I was wrong, the color is even better in person. They fit perfectly around my waist ( I’m usually a x small but I ordered small and they are perfect on me )

Go for one size larger and you are golden
I got my first pair of these shorts in Ross and liked them well enough. I purchased a second pair several months back that fit well enough but did rip in the crotch after only a few months. The cut was somewhat different and it did say it was an older design so I didn't hold that against them for too long. I purchased a couple more just recently and they are far more similar to the first pair than to my second pair. I think Amazon's "How does this product fit?" question is hard to answer because if I were judging by the size of shorts I normally purchase I would definitely say it is too small. I normally wear size large. The first pair I purchased in Ross, that I was able to try on before buying, was extra large. So I ordered extra large and sure enough it fit as expected....

So I ordered two different colors of these shorts because I really really liked the two that I got from the store where I live(Gordmans). But the store went out of business and I wanted to get more colors in these shorts. The fit is similar but just a bit off somehow either with the material or the pockets, I can't really pinpoint it exactly, but they feel "different" than the ones I got from the store. I still wear them all the time so I guess I'll get over it. Just be aware that they might be different.

My favorite shorts.
I bought a pair like these about 5 years ago. Loved em, bought 3 more. Decent for the price. After a few years, I went to buy more, they never had them in stock.. I saw these, only difference is the drawstring leg closures. My previous ones had elastic leg openings. I like these even more with the drawstrings. I bought 3 more. Size-wise, the xxl fit me well and look good. Not too baggie, not to tight, relaxed. Elastic waste works great. Tie em once, no belt, never need adjusting. Just slip on and go. Three pair of the older version have worn out after several years. One pair ripped exercising. I live 2 miles from the beach. These are my goto shorts fall to spring. PS: They make a pant version. I just bought a pair. Love them too.

Good buy
Originally bought a pair of these shorts in DDs discounts, that pair fit well and was a nice thick fabric, I purchased two more here and the new pairs are a less durable, thin, fabric. The new fabric is soft and comfortable but it has an odd sheen. That might go away after a wash so I will keep you updated. All in all I am happy with my purchase. Update: The sheen has slightly dulled after a wash.
