As expected
Just as expected. Definitely has a weird smell, so be careful with that. I have only used it up to 15 kilovolts, but for that it hasn't arced to anything else during use, I'm satisfied. Does require lots of solder, as one might expect. Be careful not to melt the insulation with the soldering gun or it will smell worse than it does at room temperature.

I don't think it can handle the 30kV
Like the title says, i dont think it can even handle 20kv so make sure you are way below the 30kv, I havent got time to test it but it doesnt work for a corona treatment system (electrostatic paint system) i think the treater handles like 15kv, its a really old one. If the wire gets like an inch near anything the spark jumps right through the jacket. :( even though the jacket seems good quality silicone and its thick.

Very Flexible
Used for High Voltage/Amps for wood art burning, Very little leakage of volts to the rubber table we use, Still, Not Advised to anyone without proper knowledge and safety working with high Volts and Amps, It will kill you!!! not just a shock!! But this cable works excellent!!

Great Hookup wire for Tesla Coil
Wanted a heavier gauge wire for my tesla coil, so as to lower resistance, while still having high insulating strength. This fit the bill. Price was fair.

So far so good. Haven’t hooked it up to high voltage yet but it looks well insulated. Using it for a Tesla coil.

Did not work as insulator for electric fence. Even regular 120 volt insulation worked where this stuff did not.
