Not what I expected

I will be returning this. Its not as deep as I thought it was. Most suitcases when you open then they are deep inside. This one literally has no depth in it. I guess it might be different but gild your looking for a suitcase that can fit stuff, then don’t get this one.

Great Roller Bag

Easily fit in the overhead bin on Delta Airlines. Packed 8 days of winter clothes easily. Excellent roller bag, especially since it is made from recycled materials!

No zippered barrier on one side for socks and undies.

Serious design flaw for those who wear socks, undies, bra's, etc. Have to return it.

Travel-in-style, nice material, premium construction, and its a steal @ $80.

This "Solo New York Re:Treat Carry On" is well made, with nice "re-claimed" material. The construction is definitely premium and well thought thru, with good stitchings, nice zippers and sufficient paddings; yet very lightweight. It also fits within to the carry-on luggage standard of 22” x 14” x 9”. One of the coolest feature of this bag is that it is made from recycled plastic bottles! From Solo NY's website: "It all starts with discarded plastic bottles. Through an environmentally-friendly process, those plastic bottles get transformed into a high quality and lightweight Recycled PET Polyester yarn. This process uses 50% less energy, 20% less water, and 60% less air pollution." The stylish and design of this luggage is chic and modern, with a light greyish color and a darker grey accent color on handles and zippers. There are 2 externally accessible compartments for items (passport, headphones etc..) that you would want to have access quickly if this is your only 1 bag for your travel. There are 2 straps inside for you to strap your item down on one side, and there is a good mesh pocket on the other side for your misc items. Solo NY also has a few other backpacks/laptop-hybrid briefcase that pair well with this luggage, and those have a strap that can slide and secure thru this luggage's handle. One note tho, the wheels on this luggage is only uni-direction, so you can only pull/roll it one way behind you, and it doesn't have multi-directional wheels that you can roll the bag sideways besides you. Currently this luggage is priced at $80, and in my opinion, it is a steal! A similarly well constructed, quality carry-on luggage can well be above $100, if not $200. Lastly, it comes with a 5years guarantee on material defects and craftmanship too! The only issue you may have with this "Re:Treat carry on" is the fact that it is only 7in thick and it is not expandable (while the carry-on limit is actually 9in). It is perfect for a short weekend trip or an overnight business trip, but you may have to considering something larger for longer excursions. Compact, durable, rolling carry on bag perfect for travel!

I do lots of traveling and am pretty picky about my luggage so I was curious to see how this would be. Overall, very impressed as they did lots of things right! PROS: - Lightweight - Rolls easily, even with lots of weight - Solid handle that expands and retracts smoothly - Pockets on the outside are great for little things!! - Nice zippered pocket on the inside to store things - Small and compact, fits very easily in overhead bins - Enough to hold everything you need for a short trip - Durable and easy to clean - Made from recycled bottles! CONS: - Doesn't expand - Smaller than similar-sized bags so less good for longer trips - Does show marks from poor handling as a checked bag (I was able to eventually get it clean) This has become my new go-to bag for short trips as the size is great as it's so easy. While it has a few downsides I've just learned to use it for the right occasion.

Convenient and lightweight

I recently needed to fly for a one day trip, and decided to buy this carry-on luggage for convenience. This suitcase looks very stylish and modern. Even though this is the first time I encountered this brand, I decided to give it a try. Luckily, I was very satisfied with my purchase. The positive sides first. The wheels roll very smoothly and turn easily. The handle pulls very easily without any friction. Even though the suitcase may look small, it will easily fit enough clothing for a 3-4 days trip, and a 15” laptop. The extra pockets inside the bag are very handy and useful. The material is very nice, too. Even though this suitcase is light in color, it is not getting dirty and can be easily wiped. Unlike many fabrique suitcases, this one seems very durable - no wonder there is a five years warranty on this product. I am looking forward to using this suitcase for my frequent travels!

Modern luggage

I really like the look of this bag. The grey is very modern and looks sleek. The bottom has a harder too and the top is more soft. It worked great for a carry on. It was able to fit in the airplane storage area. Also the wheels worked well, very smooth ride.
