Small, simple, inexpensive and effective leveling glides
I have a 19" equipment rack/cabinet for my home theater system. My turntable sits on top so it has to be level. Three of the cabinet's corners sit on a hardwood floor. The 4th corner is on a thick area rug. I have been stacking various feet and rubber caster guards under it, but every time I move the rack to access the wires, the assorted gizmos move and leveling it again is a pain. I finally got smart and bought these. They are perfect. The only obstacle I encountered while installing them was not having the 23/64 drill bit recommended for soft wood (my cabinet is MDF). Others said a 3/8 bit the instructions suggest for hardwood is too big for most applications. I used a 5/16 bit. That was too small for the sleeves, so I just wiggled the drill at the mouth of the hole to widen it slightly and then easily tapped the sleeves in. The fit is very snug, which I like. I had to use pliers to screw the foot on the carpet all the way in, but that was not hard. I am very happy with this product. I'm sure these feet can be used to level any number of things. Just don't make the holes too big. If you are in doubt, start with a a 15/16 or 23/64 bit. You can always go bigger if the initial holes are too small. As a carpenter once told me when I was young; "We have a lot of takin' off tools, but no puttin' back on tools." I embraced that axiom and it has served me well.

Works well balancing my projector stand.
Husband built a projector stand and used these to ensure stand would be balanced and steady. They worked perfectly. We ordered more.

Not designed for heavier loads
The product seems fine, but I did find if you are using it for heavier furniture, the metal part will push through the plastic threads so they are no longer adjustable. Also, you need a good epoxy to hold the plastic piece into wood. Otherwise it's prone to popping out with wood glue.

Seems to do the job -- but I think the drilling directions are WRONG
So far, so good -- I think these are sturdy enough to hold up. They seem well-designed and they are just the right size. The only problem I had was with the drilling directions. If you follow them, the Glides will not stay in the holes! In my opinion, the actual directions should be: Drill a 1 and 1/8" deep, 3/16" wide, starter hole. Then drill a 7/16" deep, 23/64" wide, hole for the neck of the Glide. (Whatever you do, do NOT drill a 3/8" hole -- it will be too wide for the white shaft of the Glide! And there is no need to drill the final hole 1 1/8" deep, you will only waste time and weaken the leg of the furniture. The starter hole is plenty wide enough to accomodate the threaded bolt part of the Glide and it will be much more stable if you only drill the starter hole this deep.)

Installs easily, feels sturdy and looks good
Installation was easy and followed the directions to get a perfect fit and it looks excellent and classy. I used these for a computer monitor stand on the desk, I'll come and update this review if there is any problem in the future.

Easy to install and good weight bearing limit
Very easy to install, they work great and are small enough you can't really see them so that's a plus. They have a 150 pound weight limit which is the same as the table I used them for. They made it much easier to get my table level on an unlevel floor.

Does the Job, Easy to Install
I bought these for a dining room table I built. They are very simple to use. I just marked out where I wanted the feet, drilled a pilot hole, and then drilled the hole specified on the package. They give you two different sizes, depending on the wood hardness you are working with. The insert felt very secure when I put it in the hole (it kind of works like a drywall anchor), and I put some epoxy on it for good measure. The feet just screw into the inserts. Super easy!

Works great
We broke a couple of these off the bottom of our filing cabinet when we moved and needed replacement. These require a slightly bigger hole than the originals in my application, but that worked to my advantage since the holes were slightly damaged anyway so I had to drill them a bit bigger. I would recommend these - easy to install.

The screw diameter is 1/4" and it has a pitch of 20 threads per inch.
Because these use a very common diameter and pitch they will fit many different applications. I used mine to replace the broken feet on my recliner and they were a perfect match. The diameter and pitch should be mentioned in the ad, as it is actually a selling feature for people using the North American SAE standard fasteners. If someone is going to use it to thread into a Metric nut or threaded hole then they won't fit without modification and the buyer should be made aware and perhaps a link to the same product in Metric supplied.

I use them in everything
These have been great for all of my furniture builds. I've put them in wood and metal pieces and they've worked great and look good.
