Loved it until the clasp broke

UPDATE: when I reached out to the company they were wonderful and replaced the bra for me. Unfortunately I had the same thing happen again with the replacement after another month and a half. I still absolutely loved this bra, it was very comfortable and 'Smart and Sexy' was really good to me to replace it. So my suggestion is the black version of this bra is maybe not gonna work for long if you have heavier breasts but if your puppies need less help to be supported this is the one for you! I loved this bra. I ordered it in black and white version. They are different. I personally prefer the fit and style of the black bra. I was using it as my favorite, comfortable "at home" bra. I have had it for about a month and a week and with average use the clasp that is on the strap broke in half and gave me a nice bra snap lol (the straps on the black version become racer back by switching in the front with these clasps, really liked this over the white one where the racer back feature is just a hook on the circle part of the strap in the back that will attach to the other strap). So anyway the black bra is wonderful for comfort and I found it flattering and fit well, but sadly the strap clasp broke after very average use for a month and a week. I will most likely still buy another just because in my size, 38DDD, it is difficult to find a bra that is comfortable and fits well at a good price point.

Finally, an inexpensive bra that fits!

I’ve gained a fair amount of weight in the past several years and much of that weight has settled in my breasts. It’s been a struggle to find a bra that fits correctly and I’m starting to get permanent, painful grooves in my shoulders from the ones that don’t. (Shapermint…your sizing has much to be desired) This bra appears to support my breasts from the band rather than the straps and gives me a bit of uplift. The straps are wide enough and don’t dig into my shoulders to hurt me as much other bras. I’m giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because It’s a cheap bra and I don’t expect it to last. I also don’t like the lace trim because it’s a little itchy and shows under my clothes. It looks like the bra from this series without lace has thinner straps but I might try it anyway. I’m not sure from the pictures. All in all, I prefer dealing with bumpy lace to wearing a bra that hurts. I’m considering this bra a winner.

Great fit...but terrible packing!

I love these bras for the fit & sexy look...I have several in different colors! But I gave a 4 star due to poor packing. You need to pack these better so the cups aren't all smashed & creased!

more padding than I was expecting

This had more padding than I was expecting, so it took them much longer to dry after being washed. I needed and appreciate the versatility of the straps. Difficult for me to get on with the straps crossed.

Read the size guide!!!

I have bought many brands of bras and I am almost consistently a 36EUK or 36DDDUS. However when I recently created a Bratabase account, it tells you how other bras in other brands may fit and the recommended sizing for that particular model and brand. So, I tried their recommendations for this brand which was a 38D in their UNLINED LACE BRA, because to truly get a frame of reference in a brands sizing (if they are consistent), you really should start with an unlined unpadded bra. With that in mind, every bra I have purchased from Smart & Sexy has fit beautifully and comfortably in a size 38D. It’s extremely odd to me why this is my size in this brand but I honestly don’t care because for the price and quality of the bras it’s beside the point. Seriously, if you order whatever size you are in Victoria’s Secret, Panache, Natori, Freya, Hanes, Vanity Fair, Olga, or Warners, etc… You will not be happy with the fit unless you don’t know your real bra size. Either use the size guide on this product page or go to the companies website and find their size chart. Don’t listen to reviews saying size up size down blah blah because if I had went with my sister size of 38DD this thing would have still been huge. Do this and HAND WASH AND LINE DRY YOUR BRAS EVERY 2-3 wears, ROTATE THEM every day so the elastic has a break, and you will be satisfied. Also a quick tip, if you think you don’t have time to wash your bras by hand, you do… it’s called wash them in the shower- a former VS manager told me this tip and it takes 2 minutes.

It is just okay

The material is super soft, but still feels durable. The lace edging on one cup keeps rolling up, so I am assuming that after a few washes they both will be that way. The bra is comfortable, but the fit is weird in the cup... however, I just had bariatric surgery and lost 90 lbs and so it could be my body and not the bra.... but for the price, I am happy to have a comfortable bra that is not way too big for me. There were comments about slippage on the strap... I do not have this issue and the straps are wide enough to be c9mfortable. They even have a bit of stretch to them to move with me.

Order wasn’t accurate

I had ordered the plain black bra and received the one with frills and a bow :/ it fits and it’s comfortable so I’m keeping it but it’s not what I ordered.

I wanted to like this bra but couldn't...

Pros: The material is soft, larger cup sizes available, and straps are normal in size (not like most bras on here for bigger chested women). Cons: You must order one cup size below (so sizing is not accurate), how they ship their bras is terrible and leaves MAJOR/LARGE creasing on inside and outside of cups every time (basically disfiguring the bra). I know all this because I've had to order the same bra 3 times in a row hoping it was just a fluke :/ I really wanted to like this bra, but the major permenant creasing in the cups disfiguring the bra (even wearing under a t-shirt you could notice) was a deal breaker for me. If the bras were just shipped better/with no creasing (stop folding each cup in half), I would buy the bra and keep it.

Amazing Quality

I been looking for a cheaper alternative to the butter soft Victoria secret demi bra and this nailed my expectations. the material is soft, the hooks are greats, i love that you can change the straps to cross in the back, i ordered a size up on the band as the reviews i read said the band fits small, im glad i did because the band fit perfect, i do find the cup alittle big but its fine and manageable, the wires don't poke or dig in any way, i am thrilled to have found this gem and plan to order more

Perfect fit for small rib cage and fuller bust.

Great fit and comfortable. I'm a 32 DD an struggle to find a good fitting bra... look no more, it fits perfect!! Soft formed material and lace very soft Perfect for t-shirts. Adjusted straps for shorter length but slid to longest length throughout the day(easy fix, put a few stitches in to hold where I needed it) Washes well(dried flat). Loved the wider straps and 3 clasps in back. You won't be disappointed!

well-made and long-lasting

I wore this type of bra forever and this is my second time purchasing this type because it is comfortable and the underwires don't come out and poke you, even though I have had it a while. Simple, no nonsense bra, especially great for small busts that don't need anything too highly-engineered in terms of weight distribution.
