It was fun for a little while
Cute and my daughter loved it until she swung it around and got hit by the spikes. Would’ve liked the base to be heavier and sturdier so it would actually stand up or wobble.

Keeps the little one entertained
My son enjoys this toy very much. The rattle sound keeps his attention and the round base helps the toy move around easily. Would recommend this toy to parents.

What would we do without Mr. "hérisson"?
This was one of our first-born daughter's "first toys" (this, the Taggies Heather Hedgehog rattle, a set of plastic stacking cups, and the Manhattan Toy Winkel Rattle were her 4 "first toys"... I highly recommend all of them). She was an IUGR preemie so wasn't interested in toys until about 4 months (she had lots of tummy problems before then), but once she was ready for toys, she instantly perked up and gravitated to "Mr. Hérisson" (Mr. Hedgehog-- we're a French-speaking household). She LOVES "Mr. Hérisson's" rattle noise, "his" texture (why she has decided that her toy hedgehog is a boy, I'm not sure...), the beads in front, and the TEETHING capability. We LOVE that it's low-tech, has multiple ways for her to play with it, and it's easy to clean even when she's vomited on it for the thousanth time. Now, at 10 months, even though she's "outgrown" her "hérisson" (walking and getting into mischeif seem to be the new thing for her), she keeps coming back to "Mr. Hérisson" daily, especially when she's teething or when she wants to 'show off' that she can keep a musical beat. Even now, when we take her to the doctor or out to a restaurant, it's one of our go-to toys. TLAS: This toy has provided our daughter hours of endless joy (even while getting her vaccines at the physician's office). It's easy to clean for parents. I may only be a first time parent, but I HIGHLY recommend this toy.

Bunnies enjoy it
Yes, it's a bunny toy. They borrowed my grandbaby's toy one day and since the bell is well enclosed, I purchased one for them. They haven't tried to chew on it and can grasp it with their teeth, so it works well for their five-pound size. Like all toys, I supervised them at first when they first received it to make sure they were not going to break it with their chewing.

Good toy for babies for holding
I wished all parts were chewable. This is a nice product and my daughter enjoys holding the toy and throwing it around.:)

Baby loves this toy
My baby and I both love this toy. They used it at her physical therapist office, but she was never allowed to really grab it and definitely not chomp it, so we got her one for Christmas. She was 6 months old, and loved it. She immediately grabbed it and stuck it in her mouth like she's been waiting her whole life for it. Haha. We actually lost ours not long after we got it, and I actually bought a replacement. I normally would never rebuy a lost toy, but this was worth it. (This is baby #4 and we've lost plenty of toys, but I can't think of a single one that I've re-bought after being lost or broken) It's not super great for teething, and the top is hard. It's top heavy, so it doesn't stand up. So those are some negatives, but again, I really like it anyways. And my baby adores it.

She’s not interested
I bought this for our baby when she was about five months old. She’s now nine months old and has never really shown any interest in it at all. The “spikes” are meant to be good for teething but this is pretty much the only toy that she has never wanted to put in her mouth. She doesn’t explore the beads on the front and she doesn’t even seem to particularly enjoy holding it and manipulating it in her hands. The hard plastic bar on the front makes an almighty crash when she throws it on the floor in an outburst of frustration! Overall it’s been of absolutely no use to us. It seems to be well made, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

You don’t want to be smacked in the face with this!
This is ok I have to say this isn’t my baby’s favorite toy nor is it mine. I was quite surprised how hard it is so I find myself always quite wary of leaving my baby for any long period of time with it, especially when he’s throwing toys and sometimes smacking himself in the face. This is not a nice toy to have smacked in your face- speaking from experience!

Life saver
If my baby could talk he'd say...Daddy this toy has changed my life! This simple hedgehog has become a hero to him in times of need...out for dinner, hedgehog is there rattling in front of him offering distration from monotony, feeling like a bit of a chew, trusty hedgehog has loads of textures, crying?! Why a rattle of hedgehog will offer distraction...5/5

Really helped my little boy develop his grabbing skills
I bought this for my 3.5 month old. He loved it straight away, found it engaging and really helped his grabbing skills come on, I think because of different holes it means they can pretty much get a good hold anywhere. The only downside is the hedgehog head is quite heavy so biffs himself in the face sometimes, but he doesn’t seem to mind. I like it as it’s gender neutral, so many toys are unnecessarily gendered.

Brightly coloured
This is the 3rd time I have bought this item. All have been gifts either for newborns, christenings or Christmas. I’ve always found Skiphop products to be well made, brightly coloured and this in particular is suitably interesting to engage young babies. Very positive feedback from the parents, and I can fully recommend!
