My kitties LOVE this toy! This is the third one I’ve bought, as the first mysteriously got dunked in my coffee mug ???? and then I wanted each kitty to have their own toy. They both are super possessive of it, and it is their favorite toy right now.

Great but he really just wants to play with the animal

My cat loves this brand of toys. He liked these teasers just fine as a kitten, but he would carry the whole thing with the stick dragging behind him often until he finally chewed the animal off the string. Then he played and carried the animal around. We didn’t have a problem with the length of the string and had fun because it was elastic so the animal would sling. But they didn’t last long because he would always chew on the string to get the animal off. I’ve since bought just the forest animals (not teasers) and he LOVES those. He’s just not all that into teaser toys.

Duck is the undisputed favorite

I first purchased from this listing three years ago when I got a new kitten. I actually got two and ended up with a duck and.... I think a gray mouse? It barely gets touched so I can't remember. Indie would grab the duck and drag it around the house, the stick of the wand trailing behind. We always knew where he was! The sound is unmistakable. It continues to be a favorite to this day so when I adopted again a few months ago, I decided to get a new one. Very glad I did, because the new baby loves it maybe even more than Indie did! And now they can both play with their own, though normally they just share -- one plays with the duck and the other the stick. As to the warning in the reviews about the duck, I agree that if your cat is prone to (or you're unsure whether they would be) chewing and eating string, it probably is not a great fit or should only be used while supervised. However, the three year old duck only just lost one of it's legs - coincidentally shortly after the new kitten arrived... dun dun dun - and the other is holding on with minimal fraying. For as much action as the little guy gets, it seems nearly indestructible. Also saw a review disappointed with how the toy part isn't very stuffed but this is by design! Something about the floppiness really seems to appeal to my cats. I can't explain why, but I know they choose the duck over the bazillion stuffed and plasticy mice we have laying around for them nearly every time. It's just a shame you can't choose which you get on this listing but I'm sure the other versions will do just as well if they don't have a duckie to compare it to!

My cat approves

(Writing in the voice of my cat since he is the one who mainly uses this toy) Hi! I'm a 2 year old cat and I thoroughly enjoy chasing around the rabbit attached to the string and stick. If the string was longer my associate would be able to dangle it more tantalizingly for me, but he makes do by bending his back so that the rabbit can "run" on the ground while I chase it. Frankly, he could always just use a longer string if he was so inclined. Idk what the heck the rabbit is made out of, but I like it! If your cat is like me and enjoys teaser toys, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. However, it is really the kind of toy that cats like I like to chase, not jump in the air for. So be prepared to mimic the movements of a small rabbit for your feline's enjoyment :3

Keep it locked up when not in use

My more finicky cat LOVES these specific fishing rod toys. He likes the elastic action when you flick it back and forth. What I don't like, is he also loves to chew on the elastic, and he is able to chew through it very quickly. I keep them out of reach when not playing, and if he manages to tear it during play, I re-tie the broken string so that we can play some more... but after so many knots, the string is too short and it's time for a new one. 0 stars for sturdiness and durability, but, it has a high rating for being one of the only toys that excites my cat when I bring it out.

No wand was included. Toy only. Misleading listing.

We only got the toy, no wand as pictured or advertised was provided. It is literally listed as "...Wand Cat Toy, but only the Toy arrived. :(

The image is misleading as only one cat toy is provided. My cat isn’t even interested in this toy, unlike her other Skinneeez toys. I contacted the seller about the provision of only one toy. I got an email telling me it wasn’t their fault and that Amazon are responsible for the content of the product listing.

Fabulous for amusing your cat!

This little toy is probably the best I have come across - and I've bought a whole load of toys! It is a sturdy wooden stick with an elastic string and a (seemingly) indestructible catnip toy at the end. My cats are very fond of this brand of catnip and can't resist this toy. It has been chewed, pulled, chomped and is still in one piece and on the end of the string! The elastic does tend to 'go' after a while of being pulled, but my kitties still prefer this over any of their other toys :)

Great size and shape for our cat to get hold of.... not too big not too small.

My cat loves these toys without stuffing they are a great size as he likes to be able to pick his toys up when playing. He often throws them in the air as if they are really his prey, we find that the toys without stuffing are easier for him to get hold of and carry around if he wants to. Our cat often drops these flat stuffing free toys as our feet to have them thrown for him.

Misleading advert - rip off

Only one toy despite the image of three and the description ‘creatures’, on top of that the toy sent didn’t match the picture anyway. Amazon couldn’t do anything, disappointing. Rip off for one tiny toy, avoid.

Should be a pack of 2 according to the description but only 1 arrived. I should have contacted the seller for a refund or to send the second wand. Otherwise, happy with the toy, cat loves it.
