Good product really is waterproof some companies don’t live up to expectations the shoes are comfortable as well they do run a lil big so order you size or .5 smaller

These things are water tight and very comfortable. Highly recommended if you work around water or for rainy weather.

Price increase
I ordered my size 10.5 and they were too small. So, I returned them for size 11 and the price went up $15. That's a little too much for a 1/2 size difference. disappointed !!!

Lightweight And Comfortable
Quite a robust boot. We'll constructed and comfortable footed. Quite a deep toe so if you've quite a high foot these would work well for you. If you're a standard fit you'd benefit from wearing thicker socks. Time will tell their longevity from regular use but initial inspection makes me feel they will do well in the performance stakes

Comfortable as Skechers always are but definitely not waterproof
You buy walking boots with four things in mind: comfort, water proof or water resistant at least, ease of fastening and durability. I always buy Skechers shoes for their comfort and these Selmen Melano Hiking Boots are up to brand expectations on comfort with a fit as expected. The real shortcoming is that these are sold as being waterproof and they are not. They may be water resistant but the sales blurb says 'waterproof', as do the markings on and in the boots. They are not. A few hundred metres along a footpath of wet grass were enough to give me damp feet as the boots wick-ed the moisture up. Not really good enough, Skechers. Even this was not a true test of boots being waterproof, and they failed. I am truly disappointed but will still keep them for the fit and comfort to use on dry mornings. As to durability, only time will tell. I walk five dogs three miles or more each day and use the boots at least once. I bought these as summer boots to give my leather winter hiking boots and my feet a rest. Looks like I will have to get the Grisports out on dewy and wet mornings.
