The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
They last longer than other shoes I've bought. I'm on my second pair and there's none of that foot pain that usually comes with adjusting to new shoes.

Superior to its successors
Edit 2021-12-26: this review is for SN 54045 (Wide) - also minor modifications. I searched wide and far for replacement to my current 54045 pair. None to be found. If Skechers brings this back, I'll buy 10. Or maybe they can suggest another GoWalk that is identical or close to the 3. I tried this product and another more recent design (Go Walk 4.) This one is superior to the 4. Reasons: This is the most comfortable and practical slip-on I've ever had. The cloth/fabric top is very breathable, never causing sweat in moderate temperature. The fact that the cloth connects to the sole without a stiffer wall is great, as it makes it feel more natural, and as an extension of the foot: definitely adds to comfort. The fit is snug - perfect for my feet. It remains comfortable in prolonged wear and walking. The insole material - the gogamat I think - never feels sweaty/damp: very breathable. The cloth top is also very breathable. The fact that there is no elastic strip as part of the top is excellent: it stays close to the foot. The best part of the design are the dots. Each dot is fully independent to respond to the weight, providing the most natural feel. We walk with varied pressure/weight on each part of the foot. I was actually able to see where I apply more pressure from the wear on the dots. My pair is falling apart yet is still comfortable to wear. This beats having one solid, thick sole no matter the treads. The build quality is fantastic. When the top gets dirty, I simply wash the pair in the sink with some detergent. I add some Clorox to brighten the colors. The closest feeling to walking barefoot.

Best shoe I have ever had
If you want comfort, then this is the shoe you want. I wear this shoe every day, wore out the first pair and wouldn't think of replacing them with any other shoe. In the house, outside, on concrete or asphalt they are great.

Tried these on in a local shoe store before ordering online so I knew what size to get and basically how they would feel on my feet. Brand new these are pretty comfortable and cushioned. The goga-mat technology feels like walking on a spongy excercise-mat, which is what EVERY pair of new shoes SHOULD feel like in my opinion. I have tried on upwards of 50 pairs of shoes within a couple months before and these are in the top 5 as far as cushioning goes. Owned for about a year now and gained probably 10 lbs since i bought them- 145lbs to 155lbs, not saying they made me gain weight, but weight HAS to effect the rate at which cushioning wears out in a shoe and the more info you have the better. I walk almost everywhere I go and have even jogged in these shoes. The cushioning is starting to get thin so I'm thinking about getting some inserts. The "columns" on the bottom of the shoe have started to wear down and off. Plus, stones and other debris tend to get caught between the columns which can be annoying, this can happen with all types of tread on shoe-bottoms but I've never had it happen as much as with these, and still its not annoying enough to give these a bad rating. If the goga-mat was even an 8th of an inch thicker they would be even more cushioned and for longer, I would go a 5th to a 4th inch thicker myself and you would have 1 BAD-A$$ comfortable shoe! As far as arch support goes I can't really remember there being a big hump in them for arch support but I may have worn that down and not even noticed because I barely consider arch-support when wearing or trying on shoes. I have pretty big arches in my feet and sometimes a big arch support in a shoe gets on my nerves if I can feel it on the bottom of my foot. I've never had issues with my arches hurting because of little or no support in any shoe I've ever worn that I can remember, I'm forty years old and have always walked A LOT.

Happy father
I bought this shoe for my 93 year old father who needed a shoe that would not make him slip and slide on the floor, yet be easy to put on. He has a very wide foot so it has been a challenge to find shoes for him. We previously were just keeping him in slippers. As soon as I put them on he was overjoyed. He liked the memory foam which made his foot comfortable and was able to easily put the shoes on by himself. They were a little big in the back so I probably could have 1/2 sized down. But he is happy with them and can walk very well in them.

Stinky feet, but only with these shoes.
I'm not sure why this is happening but it only happens with these shoes. When I take the shoes off my feet smell bad. Like I said it doesn't happen with any of my other shoes only these ones. Besides that the shoes are amazing, extremely comfortable and easy and quick to slip on.

Better than ever
Held off writing this post until I was used to this new pair of GOwalks, which I've had before. At first I was worried they were a little small but after a few hours wearing, when probably the memory foam had settled in and the fabric relaxed a little, they now fit perfectly (8). There are new design features that all seem aimed at the few wear areas of my last long lived pair and the insole is a real bonus improvement. The soles are radically different but extremely comfortable and look as they they wear well. I'll report back if not!
