Great Walking Shoes!!!!

I purchased these with the intent to use on a European trip which will entail a great deal of walking. I wanted something lightweight, comfortable, and durable. These, so far, fit the bill. I wear a size 10 Reg. Having had previous owned Sketchers I know that a size 10 would be my size; they were... fit perfectly. I thought I'd "break them in" prior to our trip to Europe so I wore them on my daily 2 mile walk as well as running errands. These shoes are EXTREMELY comfortable! I have a high arch and these accommodate that very well. They fit my feet like a glove. They are extremely light weight and will pack in my suitcase well without taking up excessive space and adding weight. I couldn't be happier with these shoes!

Good price, but lesser quality

I am an average-size man in my sixties. I strive to walk 2-3 miles several times per week. I have been a casual runner, now walker for years, having worn most of the name running shoes -- Nike, Brooks, New Balance and Hoka. As I have had several pairs of Skechers casual shoes that I really liked, I considered giving Skechers walking shoes a try. My old knees don't like pounding the pavement and the expensive shoes did not help that much. So I decided to pay half as much and try Skechers. My son is a serious runner and thought the Skechers were a decent option, given my relatively light mileage. I definitely need a wide shoe, so ordered my usual 9.5 Wide. This was the right size for me. My only complaint after walking in them several times is that they are a little tight across the top near the toes. Maybe not as wide as my previous New Balance pair in 4E. The comfort and cushion are OK, not great. I walked once last week in my old New Balance shoes and was disappointed to realize they felt as comfortable as these new Skechers. But at the much lower price, I am satisfied with these shoes. I am a bad heel-striker, sometimes seeing wear on shoes very quickly. So far so good on these shoes. I am confident I will get my money's worth from these shoes. How fast the heels wear down will probably determine if I buy another pair or go back to the more expensive shoes.

Groundbreaking design

To me, these shoes are game changers. The shoes are lightweight. The soles are flexible. However the inserts are the main advantage of these shoes. Not only do they give support, they’re also well cushioned. The inserts also cool the feels. I run and walk with these shoes. For running I love the feel. Thee are the most comfortable casual shoes to wear. Lastly, I love that you can wash the shoes. The variety of colors is nice. Plus you can order wide and extra wide. I did remove one star since durability was 6 months due to the soles wearing down and peeling from the body.

Comfort is the key

I bought these walking shoes based on an excellent online rating. I have just returned from a two week vacation in Europe, wracking up 68,000 steps the first week and 72,000 the second. That’s miles of airport, gravel paths, cement and macadam sidewalks, and more cobble stone streets and sidewalks than I thought still existed. I’m in my late 70’s so I don’t have the pace or strength I had in my 50’s and 60’s. These shoes were perfect, giving my the traction, support, and comfort necessary to keep going, keeping up with folks as much as 40 years younger than I. Highly recommended.

If you're a Skecher's fan like I am, you can't go wrong with these! I've had the best luck with Skecher's product and these finalize that! Fits great and light like a slipper!!! Love the comfort and support!

My husband had worn the same brand and style of athletic shoes for years. Recently he noticed his newest pair caused irritation on the outside of his feet, so it was time to try a new style. We looked on Amazon and decided to order the Skechers which luckily came in his size (11.5 Extra-wide). They were delivered within a few days. My husband tried them on and could immediately feel the increased support and comfort over his old shoes. He loves the Skechers Gowalk Arch Fit shoes!

Comfortable Walking Shoe

I have wide and flat feet with plantar heel pain and this shoe came in 4E width and good arch support. Shipping was quick with UPS and received shoes within a week.

Most comfortable Trainers I’ve ever had.

These trainers are easily the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. Fit is perfect, they’re very lightweight and spongey which, just adds to the cosiness off them, note that I have quite broad feet so a narrower trainer isn’t as suitable for me. It’s like walking on air, you just float down the high street. I will definitely be looking at additional pairs from the Sketchers arch fit range in the future. They look great too.

Supremely Comfortable

I had bought these shoes because I needed a pair of shoes for pounding the pavements of Berlin where we had booked a city break. I wanted a pair of shoes that would be comfortable to wear for long periods whilst visiting the sites (mostly on foot) that didn't look like conventional "walking" shoes and they fit the bill - if you'll excuse the pun - admirably. I liked the arch fit design (I've always been inclined to flat feet) and they were surprisingly light so easy to pack. All in all I was very pleased with the purchase, or perhaps I should say "Alles Gut"!
