Really like this shoe
I have a high instep and was recently diagnosed with hammer toe, but this shoe works for me.

Lasted a while
I got 4 years out of them, but with mild and intermittent use. I'm thinking 1-2 years is more typical for someone using it as a main shoe, if that. The inner-sole was the part that went, with large holes appearing there. It was a comfortable enough shoe while it lasted, and the wide size was a perfect fit for me.

Lasted for 5 months.
Had these shoes for my work shoes in my warehouse, they were very comfortable, and I usually always get sketchers for work because they usually last me the whole year until the sole is peeled off. Thought these would make it until the inside of the shoe disintegrated and the soles spikes started stabbing my foot, which wasn't fun. Great shoe, but not for warehouse usage. Get a steel toe thats around 90 bucks and you can use em for 2 years no problem.

Very slippery shoes--careful!
I think I ordered about four or five different pairs of shoes to try, and this is one that was fairly comfortable right from the get-go. Lots of padding. Shoes seem to be consistent left to right, which surprisingly is not always the case. I can't really say too tight or too loose. It fits as expected. I did add some orthotic insoles as the stock cushioning was not quite enough for me. The laces seem to stay put, and do not need to be double knotted. The one disappointment (and it's actually a big one) is these are definitely not slip resistant. They are actually really horrible in the cold. I'm in Alaska, and when the bottom of these get cold in the snow, the pattern on the bottom is so fine it glazes over. Feels like you're on ice skates if you walk on something like hardwood floor or laminate. I've about fallen on my butt a half-dozen times with these things. You really need to kick off the snow and make sure they're really dry before you start walking on a smooth surface. Even then expect to slip. I'd give these 5 stars otherwise, but these are dangerous shoes on smooth surfaces when coming in from the cold.

incredible cushioning and comfort
I acquired a pair of these several years ago at Sears for hiking and long walks. They are remarkably comfortable. Reasonably lightweight and very VERY cushiony. After heavy use for 3 years or so, they wore out, the lace holes at top ripped and tread wore out so when it rained, they became quite slippery on smooth surfaces. They also are not at all acceptable for rain or snow...porous as heck. So i thought I'd shop around and try something else. I did - in fact worked through 2-3 pairs of hiking shoes but, after use of these Skechers, nothing came close to the comfort and cushioning. I don't think you'll find another shoe quite like it for purposes described here. So I went back to Sears and, ooops, forgot, no more Sears in these parts but fortunately found a pair sold here on-line. Now I'm a happy camper once again. My walks and hikes are like walking on air. They also provide reasonably good support for my ankles and are reasonably stable on rough terrain. The only drawback, again, they don't protect against rain and after some use, you'll loose the tread and lace holes may rip. But But they're low cost so just buy another pair as I did. A big five star for me.

Wide foot? This is your shoe
Great fitting shoe. My husband is on his feet all day and these are the best shoe he has had in a while. Very light weight. Good arch support. Thick heel that cushions your foot.

bought for my son who is a server in a local restaurant and does a lot of walking on and off the job, he found these to be extremely comfortable and needed an all black shoe for his workplace, without labels/printing that were of a colour other than black. so worked out well, and I have a pair of skechers I ordered from amazon, and love them. seems the skechers shoes live up to their comfort advertising

Sole damaged after 2 months of moderate use
I had bought these shoes on 13th October 2019.. the use is moderate, not regular.. and the sole is already damaged.. I need replacement.. Kindly do the needful Amazon..
