Perfect comfort

A good shoe, very squishy

I needed a slip-on shoe with adequate support and cushioning to wear after upcoming knee replacement surgery. After reading reviews, I ordered 3 styles and 2 sizes. I zeroed in on this style. Altho the 8M fit me, it was snug. My surgeon had warned me my foot might swell, plus I wanted to be able to wear socks if my feet got cold, so I decided to keep the 8.5M (I am normally an 8.5M, but the consensus was these run large). They are a bit loose but stay on my feet. The fabric itself is a bit stretchy, so I don't anticipate any pinching unless my foot swells substantially. The reason I dropped a star is that I find the cushioning a bit too squishy to be optimally stable. My surgery is still 3 weeks away. If my experience post-op differs substantially, I will add to this review. One further comment: I had asked Amazon questions if this shoe was a good choice post-knee surgery. A couple of people responded I should check with my doctor. It is important for all readers to know to check with their doctors and keep any specific advice in mind. My surgeon could give me general guidelines but is, not surprisingly, not knowledgeable about all shoes. Therefore, I asked specifically about stability and cushioning and appreciate those who responded with their opinion on those matters. While lace-ups give more support/stability than slip-ons, I wanted to be able to get into a shoe without needing someone else to tie it for me, and I am currently not limber enough to tie a shoe without bending my knee more than I'll be able to immediately after surgery. While not perfect, I am satisfied that this shoe will be a good choice for me post-surgery. Again, if I learn differently, I will add to this review.

Sizing a bit off

Purchased the same size and style as I usual. These seem a bit larger and wider, especially in the heel. Kept them because I have worn them outside.

OK, but not for me

Not enough "give" around m bunion, and a bit sloppy in the heel.

Get correct size and don’t go larger

I got these to work in and they are very comfortable. I went up half a size because I’m on my feet so many hours that I thought it would help. They nearly fall off. Get your true size. They are stretchy and if your feet swell they stretch enough that they don’t feel tight. They have an unusual round tread that sometimes makes a little noise when you walk. If you need something super quiet these may not be the shoe. I love them but next time I would get my real size. I weigh a lot and these absorb me without hurting my feet. It’s a nice rubber that you sink into.

Great Fit!

I love these shoes! I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I normally am and they fit perfectly. So comfy. Got a great deal on them too.

Always a great buy

I always find skechers really comfortable, lightweight and supportive. They're perfect for all-day walking in city streets, without being clunky, smart enough for most casual occasions, and hard-wearing. This model has the bonus of being machine-washable, though I haven't tried yet.

Great sneakers, but sizing not good!

I need size 7.5. Skechers only make these in size 7 or 8. Half sizes are available in all the smaller shoes. It is so disappointing because I would like a slip on shoe as opposed to a lace up.

Comfort

These shoes are my favourite. I also got the flip flops and they are just as comfortable. If you get wide foot going down a size or two is better.
