Love these Skeekers Men's Cobano Reggae flip-flops. For years, I wore the Scoot's flip flip, but when I found these a few yeats ago at Sam's Club and bought a pair for a rediculously low price, I was sold. The sole on these are very thick like the soles of a good hiking boot (I wear Merrells with a Vibra;n. It comforts to your foot and your foot won't slip off the sandals when walk on uneven ground. I have a habit hittingy my toes on objects that are not completely flat, like walking pavers, small rocks, steps, tree stumps, rised uneven sidewalks, etc...you get the idea...fear no more. The soles, with a layer of memory form, on these sandals act like the toe guards and stablizers like hiking boots. The toe strap is made of tough polyester cloth and foam padded vinyl foot straps. None of the straps have ever tear or come off my sandals and the soles have retained their shape. They will last for years, aside from being very comfortable and form fitting, they won't slip off your foot. Holds up well when wet and still won't slide off your foot. Unfortunately, Sam's rarely carryies this particular model, so in the meantime, your best bet is to get them at Amazon. I have 4 pairs, one for the backyard, and for the frontyard, one for a guest, and one for reserve. They will last for years. They are great for the beach and level dirt trails.

Finally found these
Bought a pair at Sam’s club, the most comfortable slippahs (flip flop in Hawaii) I ever had. Took a while to find again, they finally showed up on skecher web site and Amazon. So I have a closet full. Walked 19 miles in one day wearing these. Memory foam contour bottom so the support of shoes, comfort of flip flops. They are all I wear now (when I don’t need shoes which is most of the time)

These are so comfortable to wear.
I have had various makes of flip-flops in the past, so more comfortable to wear than others but the Skechers are by far the best to date. The top post and straps are fabric and not plastic so a lot softer between the toes. They have are molded so the foot sits in them very comfortably, they are also very light. In the past with flip-flops I used them mainly for walking short distances to the beach but these Skechers are so comfortable I was able to wear the all the time.
