Don't get 100' unless you really need it...
I could make my old 50' hose work by moving my pressure washer around a little. Wife drove over my old hose and busted it. Thanks wife. I thought getting a 100' would be easier when using, but it's twice the work and weight when putting up. I should have just got the 50'. These monster hoses are definitely stiffer than my previous premium hose, but they seem good enough. I had a leak from the threads in one side right out of the box that didn't go away when tightening the fitting. I had to remove the fitting and reapply the teflon tape and reinstall and it finally stopped.

Great hose, though not quite pro quality
Great medium-duty 4500psi 50 footer. Comes with 3/8 inch QC couplings, male on one end and female on the other. Includes the o-ring, and it is installed on the female coupling. Also has bend guards on each end, as shown in the picture. Note, this is for higher-pressure machines. This will not work out the box for mid- and lower-pressure machines, such as most every electric washer and most every 2500-3400psi gas washer. It is not the products fault if you order the wrong hose/connectors. You should order this if your setup uses 3/8 inch QC couplings, such as you would find in most every machine above 3500 or so psi. Check your machines specs first before ordering. This will not work out the box with 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch hose setups, unless you change the connectors on this or your system. The hose itself is rated 4500psi. My machine can do 4200psi/4.0gpm. Always, always, always, lower the pressure on your machine when testing new hoses. If the hose bursts or a connector comes undone, this can be a very dangerous situation. Start low and check the entire length of the hose. Gradually increase pressure and re-check the hose. Keep raising it until you reach your desired working pressure and re-check the hose. Use it for a short while and re-check the hose. Really, you should be doing this every time you use your machine, and not just when the hose is new. Its smart and safe. The hoses themselves are high-quality, but I would not say pro quality. These hoses are too flexible for day-to-day use and abuse. These are the kind that will easily kink and ruin themselves if you are not careful. Don't get me wrong. I am not calling them cheap. They are good hoses. However, compared to other comparably-priced pro-level hoses I have had in the past, these are not the best. As long as you can keep them from kinking, they should be fine for many years. As for corrosion in the braiding. First of all, make sure to roll up your hoses in such as way as to allow the water to drain out completely. It takes practice, but you can get most of that water out. Also realize that all hoses have this "problem." Its just that you usually cannot see the braid. These are translucent, and that's why now all of a sudden you can see it. If this is really a problem for you, I would recommend you leave the pressure washing thing to the pro's. Really, this is not a problem in itself. Its normal. Bubbling hoses are bad. Rusted braid, eh, not a big deal. I was able to use two of these plus the OEM 50 footer, for a total of 150 feet with my machine no problem. Still had great pressure at the tip. If you need a long reach, just buy more 50 footers. Do not waste your time, effort and money with 100 footers. 50 footers are better in every way except price. Well, price at least in the short term. In the long run, 50 footers are cheaper. Also, 50 footers allow for easily customized setups. If you only need 50, then only use 50. Add more as needed. Also, if one bursts, its not the end of the show if you get my meaning. When a 100 footer bursts, it hurts your feelings. Also, 50 footers are easier to clean up at the end of the day. I did this as a business for many years. Trust me, stay away from the 100 footers.

Great hose hard to bend
This hose is fantastic not major downfall is it’s a pain in the A-S to bend the cord had a 4 wire casing under the other casing to protect the cord that piece never what’s the bend to what you need it it’s so strong you can give it up when it comes to forming it your way and rolling it up you can definitely call it a done deal I just fold it down as best as I can and bungee it for transporting other then that major downfall it’s a fantastic hose gets the job done and no worry about leaks or anything else

Cannot disconnect...
It seems durable -- we just started to use it -- though much more rigid, than the old hose we replaced. I hope, it will soften up a little with time. My main grudge is that the "quick connect" connectors are proving to also be "impossible to disconnect". This was not a problem with the old hose -- pulling back on the ring was reasonably easy. With this new one -- no. Both ends are firmly stuck -- the new ring on the female end of the hose is not moving, nor is the old ring on the male end of the hose. Perhaps, in an effort to make things "stronger", the manufacturer made the connections slightly harder -- they went in easy, but would not come out. It would've been Ok with me, but elsewhere people recommend disconnecting the hose to allow steel balls in the connectors to dry... I'm annoyed to the point of considering returning the hose -- if only I could tear it off my powerwasher!

Priced right.
Got this for only washing my car, and a long 125ft footpath. Using this on Karcher K5 2,100PSI Worked well no leak. Hose is very stiff, very hard to wind. It's over 20 pounds Was expecting what I'm getting, and I thought I could manage. But, after washing a I get exhausted, and here goes my 100ft hose waiting to be coiled. I seriously hate this portion of car washing. The 20 pounds hose. Now, I zip tie the first circle, then roll the hose till I reach the other end. It's a hassle. Simpson hose never kinked on me . Never had troubles with it. Feels it will last. For industrial, and work environment I would recommend this heavy duty hose. but for home use, I would just go for a rubber type pressure hose. Cause it's way lighter. Got 25ft UBERFLEX hose just to try it, and boy oh boy, this thing feels like a feather. So easy to maneuver, and I really like it. You will lose the kink resistance of the Simpson's hose, but this one do resist kinking to some extent. I'm waiting for a deal, to grab myself 2 × 50ft UBERFLEX. For those using electric pressure washers, pass on the Simpson, unless you have a hose reel. UPDATE: I noticed dripping from the female quick connect from the simpson hose. but, the pressure washer is not functioning, as in it's not a major leak. also, I noticed when using the gun, dripping is minimal to nothing. Other reviewer stated he tightened the adapter, and it stopped leaking, will try it.

Simpson Quality Monster Hose..
I use 3 x 50Ft with my Simpson Powershot 4200. I like the flexibility of being able to use 50Ft or add another one to go up to 100 ft.. These are solid quality hoses, Reliable and get the job done without blowouts.

Very stiff and difficult to coil/uncoil but I guess it ...
Very stiff and difficult to coil/uncoil but I guess it is the heavy duty aspect. Have leaks at both ends, not the fittings or couplers but from under the rubber boot. Leak does not appear to affect pressure but does make for a messy pump area and me.

very stiff
tough hose and will last for years, but very stiff to use, pull it off the reel and it coils up like barb fence wire making it hard to use

Good power washing hose.
I have purchased many of these for industrial use. They have lasted longer than more expensive ones I’ve bought from industrial suppliers. Gets a little stiff after a lot of use but good value for the price.

Excellent hose
This product is excellent. Well made with couplers already installled. So many other hoses you have to buy the couplers. The hose is flexible and well designed. I would definitely buy this product again
