Great shop rags
I use these to clean up heavy grease off of axle hubs. Paper towels fall apart and snag on sharp edges. They hold a lot of grease and grime before I toss them. Cheap enough for my needs.

Great in place of paper towel
I use a vertical standing paper towel holder and literally roll them up around the paper towel holder . Cheapest most sensible way to do un-paper towels . I use a wet bag under my sink and when it’s full I throw it in the wash . Every few washes I’ll bleach them as well. Had them for close to 8 months and they aren’t pretty , but they’ve held up .

Best For Certain Uses
I've bought these a few times over the years and here's what they're NOT: 1. Soft 2. Thick 3. "White" 4. Highly Absorbent 5. All Exact Same Size They also have semi-finished edges, a few have loose strings, and some will fray in the wash. What They're Good For: 1. They produce and leave behind LESS lint and fibers than traditional cotton terry, microfiber, and paper towels. 2. Depending on use, what and how much gets on them--you can wash them or toss them w/o breaking the bank. 3. Their size, semi-rough texture, and relatively thin composition make them most useful for certain tasks around the home, garage, and work shop, such as wiping off smudges, grease, oil, solvent, adhesives, caulk, and paint from surfaces, tools, parts, fingers, etc. I find they work especially well for wiping off excess caulk and paint. I wet them down w/water beforehand. They also work well for some tougher cleaning jobs used in conjunction w/adhesive or paint remover, "Goo-Gone, "Goop," Iso Alcohol, Acetone, etc. I use softer, thicker, high quality terry towels where softness and absorbency are important, e.g., wiping down electronic screens, furniture, windows, mirrors and other glass/ceramics, metals, and other surfaces. Personally, I found microfiber towels leave lots of tiny fibers behind regardless of how many times they're washed, and are not very absorbent and not so soft. The exception are the thin, smooth-surface microfiber towels that work well for cleaning eye-wear and electronic screens. You can also buy larger ones for TV and computer screens. They're not very absorbent but work well to remove dust and minor smudges, w/o scratching or abrading surfaces.

Great bargain
I am extremely pleased with these. Considering that these are a bargain price, I was not expecting plush washcloths. These are not see-through and have a quality hem. I purchased these to use to clean up spills and as everyday napkins. Far exceeds my expectations. Highly recommend these for any cleaning chores around the house.

Shop towels, not Terri cloth. We kept them anyway for my husbands shop, lol, but I ordered the Teri closets ones for the house.

Shop rags take on grease and heavy duty cleaning jobs
You might think a shop rag is a shop rag, but certain features make these stand out. First, the weave is loose, and the fabric is thin, but the cloths do not leave fibers behind on surfaces when you use them to clean. The material has a rough texture good for scrubbing surfaces. They work well on windows and glass and don’t leave lint. They are a good size, measuring 12 by 14 inches. I like to keep some in the garage for car messes and under the kitchen sink next to my cleaners. They are reusable and make you feel better using them over one-time-and-done paper towels. They are relatively thin, so you may go through more than one to complete a cleaning job. (I find them especially useful to clean up dog accidents on the carpet.)

Good purchase
These work great as every day rags. We use a lot of paper towel and decided to give these a try in place of paper towel and they work great. Washed them all before use and had no issues with them coming apart in the wash or dryer. They are certainly not top grade, but are great for basic cleaning around the house.

Not for Spills
Our facility manager said these are great shop towels for paint clean up, but don't absorb spills/ water at all for cleaning. Have ordered another type/brand. A little on the thin side.

Sturdy, versatile, non piling towels.
Love these hard to find shop towels. It used to be that every hardware store had these in stock. No more. We use these towels for all kinds of cleaning all over the house and garage. They are strong and can be washed in the washing machine many times yet priced right for throwing away after cleaning up paint and oil spills.

Durable and absorbent for a lot of applications
The shop towels have worked great - both at my workbench, and for acrylic art projects my wife works on. I appreciate both their durability and that they shed relatively low dust and fiber.
